I love how you can make these designs different but also to their own character tastes and likes and read into them a little more just looking at their personas and design wise and can really explain it well and through them that’s AWSOME I love what you did love this video 10/10 for me ❤❤😊😊

I absolutely love the way you took each pony’s personality traits/talents into account, making Applejack buffer, Pinkie with softer round shapes, Rarity and Fluttershy being slightly slimmer/taller than the others- honestly, just overall great designs! Also, each of their cutie marks having a tendril-based design around their back leg(s) is so genius!

I love Rarity's redesign but I also keep thinking she's Nightmare Rarity from the comics(which is where a lot of people draw the inspiration from). I'd love to see a regular colored Rarity with your design alongside it since she's the most different color wise. ❤

as much as i adore these designs, the dislike and disregard for the cutie marks threw me way off...T^T. cutie marks are incredibly important in the world of my little pony--the most iconic one that we all know and love. so when you said "throw that away. what even is that, a compass?" i got a really bad taste in my mouth. they ALL mean something. apple jack's cutie mark for example, if you thought harder about it, is all about the apple not falling far from the tree, and how the apple is quite literally a symbol of honesty and loyalty (like the apples from eden's garden), her family is literally in an apple farm business, and it's got a plethora of puns and wordplay all throughout the concept of it. and rarity's, as someone else mentioned, is rarity's ability to see diamonds in the rough, which speaks to her HIGH levels of creativity, her carefulness when it comes to both her work and social situations, her ability to shine the brightest out of all the ponies, her love for beauty, and most importantly, her generosity. she would give anything up and to her friends if it meant they were happy and if it helped them realize that they're worth the sacrifices. something that symbolizes that would be something invaluable, like a diamond. it also adds to her personality as well, with how haughty and rich-like and snobby she can be, because she's a small-town girl who wants to be bigger and shine brighter than who she is. your designs are gorgeous, but i hope that after this video, you realized that they're more important and thought out than you first thought. sorry for the long rant, i just...really love mlp and i think their designs, as much as they were lacking, made a lot of sense and was very meaningful to me, from childhood all the way til now, in my early adulthood.

I admit i don't like applejack's "older, more in the future" design with the short hair. If i was just ahown that picture and given no context id assume this was a genderbend side to side. Not that its bad but with the body bulked up (understandable... she works physically) and the hair super short it kinda takes away from the first... hope that made sense

For twilight's og mark. Twilights talent is magic in general, but as others have mentioned, the big star is her while the white star represent the future friends she will find, and due to them all being connected through dash's rainboom. But it also represents the elmentents of harmony and as we know very well, friendship is MAGIC. And what is twilight's talent? Magic!

I hope you see this because I think it's important for you to know- Ive never seen an artist handle themselves so amazingly. What I mean is that you critized your past drawings but in a very CONSTRUCTIVE way, you were truly looking to grow and change but without absolutely hating your psdt designs. Plus, you also did exactly the right thing of giving yourself a 2 day break for rainbows design! I just loved seeing all of that ❤
