Making Laundry Detergent With Castile Soap
To make laundry detergent:
Boil 4 cups of water and slowly dissolve 1/2 cup of washing soda (I used Arm & Hammer), 1/4 teaspoon baking soda, and 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt. Allow to cool then add 12 cups of water. Slowly stir in 1 cup of pure castile soap (I used Whole Naturals Nature's Gold from Amazon) then pour into a resealable container. Shake before using. Use 1/2 cup per load or a little more for larger loads.

Love the bright yellow ❤.
BS and salt are fillers. Omit them.
All liquid soaps are 40%-50% water. Bronners dilution cheat sheet recommends 1/3-1/2 cup PER LOAD. Batch is 13 cups, dosing 1/2 cup/load, she washes 26 loads with one cup of liquid soap, which Bronners says is enough for 2-3. She’s washing a load with about 1/2 tsp of liquid soap, based on a 1/2 cup dose. That 1/2 tsp is 50% water, so she’s washing a load with 1/4 tsp of soap. Enough??? Expect results comparable to washing with plain water. Avoid.

Be careful with that hold temperature brother. The danger zone is 40 - 140 degrees. You should hold your brisket or any meats for that "10 hours" outside of that danger zone. I typically hold at 150 degrees to not get anyone sick. Good work brother...
Thank you for the tip. I will remember that for my next or any cook.
I never heard of a grill/smoker modification. I think that makes you the boss.
Excellent 👍🏼 and very thorough. Brisket looks darn good, thank you for sharing your knowledge.
