Someone asked who created Riverdance and what year ? The answer; it was a joint effort with dancers Michael Flatley and Jean Butler. , Moya Doherty and John McColgan were the producers along with , composer Bill Whelan. It was originally a 7 minute interval act at the 1994 Eurovision Song Contest in Dublin. The response was so enormous, that it was turned into a full length show.
