@@alexanderjones6383 sounds like it but it's just the Toyota r154 gearbox with really hard poly bushings, it's so annoying lol . I might have to add some sound deadening back into to the car unfortunately.

i appreciate it, i wish i kept the interior all stock but it was so dry rotted from the desert sun and atmosphere it was unsavable. everything is removed from the interior except the dash ,center console, and windows .

@@averageasianalchemist69 Module wise if you will, I'm assuming your lights and turn signals work or did you have to wire those independently?

@@alexanderjones6383 everything's wired independently through a few relays, maybe the next upgrade will be a PDM to tidy everything up.

oh no, im sorry that happened. The header/ manifold bolts were tightened last just to allow some wiggle room when assembling , maybe not enough??? im going to check now just to make sure .

unfortunately i do not, but from what ive read online the W126 up till 1985 used the 280MM rotors which is stock size for w123 but vented, so you will need the appropriate caliper from the same year as well. after 1986 the w126 rotors are 300MM the caliper will be a little larger as well, but if you do use the 300MM rotors the stock dust shield will need to be modified a little bit to fit. doing the 280MM is still an upgrade since its a vented ticker rotor .

Hello , they're mostly all plug and play from the w123, w126 ,w115, and r107 chassis , you just need to make sure the mounting style is with the 4 bolt holes up top. You'll be able to tell right away when you see it .

I bought this bike used and it had the shift assist already installed but not working, I brought it into my local triumph dealership and they couldn't figure it out either :( i think I need a new one , I haven't really looked into it really it doesn't bother me too much.

Super laggy didn't come on till like 4k rpm

less than 100,000 ever made, this one was is rough shape when i bought it from the previous owner, probably on its way to the scrap yard to be honest.

good information, ill keep that in kind. I'm on the stock rear end still its holding up so far, been contemplating a new diff and axles but unclear. rear brakes still seem ok im able to lock them up with the hydro E brake with no issues, haven't really put them through a major heat cycle tho so its untested in that regards .

OEM + upgrades are the best!

the brakes are upgraded to the vented w126 rotor and caliper , its a direct bolt on upgrade .

@@blackthunder8517 it should work, you do need the rotor and caliper . also there is 2 sizes as well, if you go for the bigger one you will have to trim the heat shield a bit .

@@averageasianalchemist69 cost, with heated grips and quick shifter it's just 150 a month to own. They had a 2% financing deal with the 2023 carry overs and a 9% with the street triples. It was either this bike or no bike basically because I would just wait for a used or carry over street triple deal going into next year! Or save the money and try my luck with perhaps a ducati 1 time around

damn 2% is great, these bikes seem to keep their value too, i was interested in a Ducati desert sled but the DESMO valves scare me since i like to do most of the maintenance myself. @@JoshuaHults

no, im using a Toyota 1jz-vvti inline 6 engine its the engine before the 2jz commonly found in Toyota Supras .

its out of a jzx100 1jzvvti with a r154 trans, stock internals stock trans im not pushing crazy number so itll probably stay stock for a while. i didnt have to modify the engine compartment at all really these engines fit well in here.

Since it is a full header back exhaust i can see that being possible, but and exhaust causing damage is highly unlikely especially with these newer fuel injected engines. Since you do have a brand new moto id probably wait a couple oil changes and dealer services before doing any modifications to the engine, and its always wise to keep your stock exhaust system just in case you run into engine issues you can swap it back to stock and have the bike diagnosed, 9 times out of 10 itll be unrelated to the exhaust.

Yes there's quite a few different options but they're all geared around 2.40 ratio , that will not work with a r154 supra transmission .

yeah, they're all way too long of a ratio, this R154 transmission likes 3.73 -4.10 ratios. ive been looking quite often for as good ratio 8 bolt diff. @@WingspeedGarage

@@averageasianalchemist69 The shortest ratio that I know of is 3.46 for the 210mm… I’ve also been looking at the Holden/GTO M80 diff and as you stated the mounting points looks similar. But custom cv-axles are expensive so I hope my 210mm with a wavetrac will hold up for everything I want it to do

I was coming up short too on my R129 with no available LSD and a terrible 2.65 so I put an Explorer 8.8 with limited slip and 3.73 for my swap.

yes you can upgrade to the w126 300mm vented rotors and larger calipers
