Hi I would just like to share that I had an opportunity to attend his harp private concert in Kyoto Japan 2 weeks ago (2019/03/03). According to my harp teacher, he is one of leading harpists in the world. Wow his skill and fingering speed were amazing and the concert was great which was my first harp concert to attend!! He played for 1.5 hours classic to modern peacefully and powerfully, Fantasie Impromptu and Bohemian Rhapsody were my favorites !! After the concert I had a chance to speak with him (purchased the DVD, yay) and I asked politely to touch his hands, and his finger tips were so hard♥!! He said shyly "My hands are not clean after the concert...." but I was so happy with them♥♥♥!!
The pianist is great, both of them are Fantastic musicians.

Terrific. This is just a thought, and please do not take this as prejudice. But you hear of so few Japanese classical violinists. They all seem to come from China and South Korea (as do the violins, by the way). Any idea?
