Installing a Battery, Like the Pros at the Parts Store 🤦♂️
Have exact problem with right door with my 2019 Odyssey. Where to buy that motor and do you have part number sir ? Thanks
I bought the motor from the dealership. Not sure of the part number
No gasket?
No use Honda bond
Am gonna have to pay for this work my odyssey is oooold and not be able lift it nicely is an issue but yeah my odyssey cannot be driven untill its done😢😢
Why can’t it be driven?
@con_Auto well its leaking all the oil out, and just continuesly adding more is just too expensive.
@ oh I see
Do you have a video on replacement of the hose
Im a fan of the honda bond. I just cant believe this much of a surface that there is not a normal gasket
Is this for a 2.0L ?
2.4L
Hi Could you please help me identify what this noise could be? the valves have been adjusted by my mechanic used lifter free additive but it didnt work. it is definitely coming from top end rocker cover. here is the video. ruclips.net/user/shortsvhr9Mj4FrwM?si=FVZll-zhuWd9FQMD
So need more info? How many miles does the car have also listen to high pressure fuel pump those are notorious for being noisy. Check those and get back to me
@ Thanks for getting back to me. the car is 2015 honda accord 2.4. it has 213000 kms on it. the noise can be heard in the cabin when idling. it can only be heard at idle as soon as i start driving it goes away.
@ also it develops the noise after warming up for 10-15 mins. on cold start there is no noise.
@ahmedwaleed3342 could be your cam shaft is worn out. Is maintenance done regularly?
@ cam was inspected there is no visible wear on the cams. could it be one of the lifters?
Thank you for this video! I have pull leaking everywhere(around the pan) . I believe I will need to replace it, vs reseal since the opening has been oversized plugged and then double sized plugged to try to save things. My question is, you recommended to wait 24 hours. This vehicle is currently my home, so what is the least amount of time you would recommend before replacing the oil and starting the engine. Not sure if I'll have to find a place to stay for the evening when doing the job! Thanks
You can start it after 3 hours
Did the cust have a check engine light? Im getting a 303 code but no check engine light. Your advice?
The check engine light was on. You can have misfires and have no check engine light, misfires need to reach a certain amount before setting a check engine light
@@con_Auto I had all of the plugs changed and the ignition coil on three. I am no longer getting a code for it but still feeling and hearing little fish bite misfires. Also randomly dips low on RPMs waiting at a stoplight. I had a tear in my intake boot so I replaced that. In your experience, what should I look to next to investigate?
@lisahardy2070 you may still have misfires but not even to set a check engine light. You will need a scanner that shows live data that can indicate which cylinder is misfiring in real tume
Hondabond and Yamabond are branded variants of ThreeBond so any of those will do as will well-loved Toyota FIPG which also has a fan base of decades. DO NOT use conventional RTV and apply only the smallish recommended bead width (check bead width on cardboard first instead of spewing on too much if you're new to wrenching).
Do u happen to have a video replacing the turbine input shaft sensor error code p0717 I have same issue
I do not have one. It’s very easy to replace remove the 10mm fastener holding it. Apply a small amount of lube to the new sensor o ring and slide it into the hole until it is bottomed out
@ I have to pull out the air box ??
@ yes
Part #?
@charlesgaitan1 I do not have a part number
Atleast it sounds better
On 2015 civic shows 1342 can you explain
That’s the firing order. So the order of which the valves should be adjusted
hondas fall off still wasn’t as bad as nissan when they got sold to renault 😂
I am currently a learning apprentice and this video really helped me. My boss was very impressed with your quality and explanations after i showed him the video
That means a lot thank you
Keep up the good work my boy
That's a bunch of bull. Liar
If I was lying why would insurance approve a repair of 8k?
Cast Aluminum doesn’t bend.
@@mikeyfaulknor9970so it doesn’t bend at all? Not even a tiny bit??
@@con_Autoyou tell him
Looks easier than I thought it would be. Last time I worked on Honda was in the 80s during all the CVCC years. That sucked...
Lol, if you get it, you get it
Great video!!!!
Thank you I appreciate you
If he is lucky it’s maybe just the control arm. If unlucky it’s a subframe or collision damage.
Let me put it this way she had to get her insurance involved
@@con_Auto Probably a good idea. Not going to be under warranty if it’s physical damage.
@@CouchMan88 the estimate is around 9k. Obviously no warranty for collision damage
Guessing it was a bent subframe
One side just has a bigger tire while three other side has a smaller tire. 😂😂
That looks like a newer Honda pilot. No older than a 2023. Ouch.
2024 with 9k miles
Control arm. I surmise
I had this happen to me once, it kept recurring after cleaning. I wish id have delt with it right away because the acid ended up accelerating the rust in the engine bay. Clips and connectors all looked much more rusted than they should have. Im pretty sure its caused because the seal around the terminal is cracked allowing vapours to escape. I havent tried this but I thought about carefully adding super glue around the base of the battery post where it connects to the plastic (obviously if you get it on the post you'll lose electrical contact). Or perhaps rubber cement. If you grease the posts it will stop the accumulation on the terminals but you really dont want sulphuric acid vapours coming out in your engine bay in large amounts. Also when you clean it with water the acid is dissolved in the water and anything it touches as it drains down will be very acidic and corode, best to add baking soda to the water to neutralize the acid.
My guess is piston rings. Looks similar to something I saw on my aunts car before
It is piston rings
Right front tire looks a bit chewed up. Definitely hit something.
Probably smacked a curb trying to drive over sometbing can see concrete dust in the tire in question
So customer informed us after given the estimate that they made a u turn and hit the curb
Possible a bad front end frame damage repair and not replacing suspension parts could be maybe 😂
That's exactly how my right tire looks I think it's my control arm that's bent
Ask them how long ago they smacked something that didnt want to move with their wheel.
Put it on the lift and show us a bent controller arm
Why new cam gear?
The back of it is damaged from the rubbing on the sensor
This is exactly what I have going on with my car right now 2019 Honda Odyssey. And I’m out of warranty 😢
@andrescardenas2614 sorry to hear that. This repair will need to be done on your car to prevent damage to the entire engine
For 2016 Honda according is firing order the same ? 1-3-4-2?
Yes it is
Pretty much the same for all inline 4 bangers.
Thanks for the video! I believe this is something I can tackle. I have a 2013 Honda Civic that is my daughter’s car. It all of a sudden got really low on power. Took it to the shop to check fuel pressure and back pressure with no issues there so I’m not sure what it is since there is no codes popping. Maybe it needs a valve adjustment. What are your thoughts? Thanks again.
What do you mean they checked back pressure? Have your local shop check the catalytic converter to see if it’s clogged and also check for misfires. As there are the two things I know off the top of my head that can cause a loss of power. If it’s valve adjustment check the map sensor for .88v.
Wow, just wow
Looks A) broken and B) COMPLETELY DRENCHED
Awesome video! Saved me $500 easily. Directions were spot on. Thanks!
at 0:25 you disconnect a hose from the intake duct connecting to the throttle body, i have an 02 gs300 and for some reason theres no hose there just a cap held on by a clamp, do you know what part that is n if it is importantcuz i can only assume its never had one since the lady who had the car before me definitely wasnt a mechanic
I do not know I don’t have the car anymore. I would assume it goes to the valve cover.
mines an 02 and it has the same thing, youre fine!
Hey thanks for the video it was a huge help!
Thank you I’m glad it helped!
Timing chain tensioner

@@con_Auto got it thank you for the correction

Gotta a miss fire hopi g it's this
Great Job!!! What would be the cost at the dealer ?
Anywhere from $1200-1800
@@con_Auto ok thanks
At what mileage did you replace your water pump? was it failing? Leaking or anything?
I replaced at 100k miles for preventative maintenance
@@con_Auto did you change belts and thermostat and altenator?
I change the belts too. I did not to the alternator or thermostat at the time.
Hi I replaced the mounts by new ones the car still vibrating the mechanic asked me to drive the car some time to the mounting become softer is that correct???
Did u buy a factory motor mount?
The mechanic bought it as brand new
@fathisalemabshina1758 but was it a Honda part?
Yes
All the mounts that were replaced are factory parts? How does your engine run? No misfires? How many miles on the car?
Engine coolant temperature
That’s the sensor but why does the voltage change
@con_Auto you can touch anything with a meter and on different settings you will get different readings . No go make a car that use water for fuel . And stop wasting time
Your comment shows you clearly understand how a multimeter works
@@con_Autothere is a loose wire, as he touches it he is closing the circuit and when he removes hand voltage lowers showing reduced load. Because of a bad wire👍🏽
Hi, what model year is this Odyssey? Thanks!
2018
