Luciano Pavarotti & Itzhak Perlman
Very rare, unexpected but so beautiful duet between one of the best violinists (using his voice) and in my honest opinion the best tenor ever under the leadership of another giant!

Nobody comes close to his period before 1978, when his unique timber was consolidated by that powerful masculinity
I can only wish 🙏🙏

I was fortunate to see Pavarotti in Edmonton Canada in 1995. It was truly amasing , the most memorable time in my life. I often think back and pinch myself. Did I really experience that, it was epic❤❤❤❤❤❤
Khvorostovsky never was a gratest baritone! He was only a most popular.

2:38 aria name pls?
Flawless concert from start to finish by Pavarotti. Demonstrating yet again to all but the jaundiced of mind how preeminent he was.

Pavarottii, is just so Profound, Profound, Profound, a beautiful voice beyond every voice in human history, I will love him forever!
Effortless. Unprecedented, unique, unparalleled. Privileged to live in his time. Miss him. RIP Ultimate Maestro.
It’s so effortless one would think that there was a machine inside him.
I had the great privilege to have seen Maestro Pavarotti perform nearly a dozen times, once while sitting on the stage of Avery Fisher Hall. He is without question the greatest artist my eyes and ears have ever witnessed, and I’ve seen some greats in my time. The affection and respect I have for this man has in some ways defined my life, and I will treasure the memories he has given me until my last day.
Greatest baritone since his idol ETTORE

A beautiful man, a beautiful voice. Once in a lifetime gift from God. One single thing that I must visit Italy for before I die. Love Pavarotti.
❤❤❤❤❤
He is to opera what Whitney was to singing .
He was just WOW!!!!!
In this arie beginning at 07:05, he is very very great ! Every one should study at the end of such aries how much physical control and willingness is necessary to perform at that level at the final.

Beautiful
Everybody knows that singing Opera is difficult and this man carried out the best among the best tenors of all time. So sad that he died too young.
Fabuleux
I had forgotten how fabulous Pavarotti’s singing was.
Merci merci merci
The King of High Cs is Incomparable. The Best Ever. BRAVO MAESTRO PAVAROTTI.
🙏🙏🙏❤️🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥❤️🙏🙏🕊️
Semplicemente unico e inimitabile Duca di Mantova!!!!!!
This scene was taken from the Jean Pierre Ponelle's beautiful film of Rigoletto, no doubt the sound was recorded in the studio and likely enhanced, but no matter you would be hard pressed to hear better singing.
I think this is the best tenor aria in Rigoletto, magnificently sung by Luciano Pavarotti.
Loved this. I remember years ago hearing Perlman talk about how he liked singing in choruses. My teacher had a great bass baritone voice and loved opera especially Franco Corelli.
