Blame Graves himself for being absent in 98 for their Europe and South America tour of that time. Graves wanted to cancel the FIRST Misfits South American tour cause he wanted to go to hockey camp instead in the summer, and Jerry wasn’t having it as he already postponed the tour for almost 2 month already… Jerry probably was only looking for a replacement to cover only for the SA tour but Chud told Graves over the phone he was going to be “replaced” by Hideous so Graves got pissed and quit the band!! So they brought Myke to Europe with only two weeks to prepare and rehearse (without Doyle and Chud cause they were angry that Graves wasn’t touring with them anymore) and brought him to South America too as Graves was somewhere else in hockey camp or whatever… . . @@ltfringr Hideous isn’t an awful singer, you should listen to the Soundboard recording version of the Roskilde Festival 98, it’s the cleanest he’s ever sounded fronting the band (besides Chile 98) You should also listen to his own band The Empire Hideous, or Spy Society 99 or even The Bronx Casket Co. he truly was a great singer but was brought in as a last minute replacement so you really can’t ask him for more

Myke brought some passion as frontman and looked like he wanted to be there unlike Graves who checked out around ‘99 and looked like he was just performing a job up there. Myke had a creepy vibe that fit perfect with the band

Mykes voice is incredible!!! I’d recommend you listen to his own band The Empire Hideous and his performances live and see it for yourself c: Now on this time for the European Tour he only had 2 weeks to prepare to learn songs, rehearse, put his belongings in storage (as he was getting evicted too from the house he was renting at the time), get his passport, and on tour he did perform about 7-9 shows in a row with very little time for his voice to recover from the stress from singing at a fast pace like they were doing it back then. Graves is a great singer too but he was becoming somewhat of a pain in the ass for Jerry as he was being absent for rehearsals and he also wanted to cancel their South American tour because he wanted to go to hockey camp instead…. Jerry just wanted to find a new temporary singer to cover for SA but Chud told Michale he was getting replaced so Graves got pissed and quit. That’s why they brought Myke to Europe with little prep time to rehearse and learn the songs

I'm replying to both of these comments I think Michael Graves voice is better too I even like it better than Danzig's those two albums I did with Michael Graves or the golden misfit travels for methi s myke guy I do not like his band just like in this video to dig up her bones Michael voice is astronomical compared to this guy
