I’m curious is Cape Town safe ? I will be traveling to Capetown in May 2023 from Capetown airport to the Victoria and Alfred waterfront hotel and I will have a private tour guide. Cape Town is so beautiful it people tell me the crime is bad
Cape town is like any other tourist city in the world. The tourist side of town is safe but the non tourist side of town is not.
As AfricaTekk said just be aware of your surroundings and keep your possessions close. I've lived here my entire life and been very lucky.
Cape Town seems to be quite safe. The last major seismic activity was in 1968.😉
Oh, and no lions or leopards have been spotted in the streets recently.👍
