My wife's ancestor lived in Brodnica. She was born there in 1814 as Sophia Julia Strauss and later married Karl Wilhelm Gettke.
There are people with those surnames still living on this land 😉 Some surnames became Polonised. However, a significant part of the people of Brodnica has Prussian roots (including myself). Kind regards 🖖🏻

Dear Matt, Iam very interested if you could be able and willing to do a 4k DRONE footage above the Garrisson Church fields around and also the grassfields near the Rose garden behind the Castle near the Southsea? Also drobe above the sea and beach and grass paralel nex tot the old Royal Marines BArracks Eastney. Its all for me historical footage to compare WW2 bombing 1940 and trench defences. especially on a hot summer you would see the difference in colours of grass. Like Woodhenge , and other sights. Please notify me if you need more info, I would be very much helped with your drone for myPompey WW2 research,. Thank You

St Marys hospital east side grounds had beautiful gardens and land now concrete, St James hospital had vast amount of land and used grow they own food etc, now its concrete with more to come, Eastney ex MOD the old firing range is in private hands with plans for luxury houses waiting for the green light, even gardens and little spaces have been filled, so enjoy what little green there is left in Portsmouth because its going.
