Such a brutal way to end a season. They did a good job subverting expectations. Totally thought they were gonna kill off the dad, then we spend a whole episode expecting her to recover before they drove the stake in.

I never get emotional over dramatic television, but this last Unforgotten (DCI Cassie S.) episode sent me into a depression for awhile. I had to start watching Annika just to reassure myself that Cassie (Nicola Walker) was still alive somewhere 😪--- 😊. Nicola Walker is just a very good actress.

This RUclips clip would have much better without that theme music. You just cannot get the full audio and visual tribute. Too Bad
