Mount Bierstadt - Located in Mount Evans Wilderness, Colorado off of Guanella Pass. Bierstadt is one of 58 Colorado peaks reaching over 14,000' and sits at 14,065' ranking it number 38. I've been wondering that a lot recently - why do we climb mountains?! This was a nice and easy Class 1 hike (no exposure) but still.
@@t-kroll I'll hike with you thru videos haha I'm too scared of heights. You won't even catch me on a steep pitched roof haha

im thinking about this weekend. not sure about the snow pack though. Should I?!?!
The snow about a week ago was definitely manageable, it was starting to get soft on my descent but I only post-holed once. Looking at Alltrails and 14ers.com it seems that there may not be much snow left. If the weather is supposed to be nice and if the sun is out, I'd say you should be totally fine! I read that on colder days, the remaining snow could be a little icy. If you do go, good luck and have fun!

I use it on multi-use trails just to give a heads up to any hikers, it is quite annoying on the vid :(

The hike only took about 10-15 minutes, it wasn’t too bad!
