Nothing crazy in this little update, got another project started as temperatures soar and mosquitoes decide take over as the NEW local blood bank. Times are tough everywhere, even in the places where you'd expect them the least. But like every other time in history, this to will pass. Remember what is relevant in your life and concentrate on that, don't play the blame game and make excuses for ...

An update since we (Crude and myself) went to California for the winter, and while we were there, I finally learned how to FLY (and land)!!! Added another project truck (semi), along with a four-wheeler for Crude. We've been back for a little more than a month, and have endured 2 different blizzards!!! Trucks have been breaking down left and right, and while this is normal, it really sucks when...

Crude and I got to attend the Cardano Summit over here is Laramie, WY. And what a event it was!!! We got to meet a lot of great, smart people who all had one thing in common: change. My updates are footnotes as we progress in live, but I HIGHLY advise you to find other RUclips content which can actully explain, in detail what Cardano is all about. But I can tell you this, of all the different c...
Back to the Bakken update!!!

In this long overdue update, I make mention of another truck and trailer setup, the Cardano Summit at the end of the month. I stumbled upon some footage I make pre-Bakken, pre-storm and it madee smile to see how I've come from nothing. Don't dream, plan; then take action to make it happen!!! You can always fix or learn from your mistakes, but you'll NEVER be able to fix doing nothing. That's a ...

We got our equipment back from down south, but more importantly, today is the first day that we put it to work!!!😳😁💯 With everything that can go wrong in this line of work, we choose the closer, shorter job. Hopefully we'll be able to make all the little adjustments while they're still minor and small...🙏🙏 Crude had a lot of important things to say, but we're still waiting on his thumbs to arri...

This is old footage from Hurricane Laura, 2020. In this video, I'll be showing how to create something out of nothing. The video speaks for itself, and is for instructional purposes only. I'm not suggesting this is the proper, nor correct way to load your truck, I'm just showing another technique that may come in handy... Hopefully in the near future I'll be able to have somebody film me on the...

June 6th update... Arriving in Vicksburg, MS. to be reunited with lil Crude today! We'll also have our first look at the mess we have to clean up and the best way to do it... I've had a little time on the road to think about; why it is what I do? Or, what is it i actually do, exactly. I guess the answer to this is, seeking opportunity, without caring what it'll take to be successful!!!💯 We all ...

Making the final move from the Bakken, down to Louisiana. Lots of things going on, don't know if this is the right decision, but it's something. And at the end of the day, we can fix whatever doesn't work-out, can't fix nothing!! As far as being called, "one of those rich guys." 🤦‍♂️ I started out in the hole 3 years ago and busted my ass for everything I got!! Just proves, if a bum like me can...
Day 6 of storm-season 2021...

Here's another unedited installment of storm-season 2021, you'll have to excuse my energy, I'd just gotten off the road after a long, long drive... And because I'm creating this off my laptop, I need to figure out a couple of the features, but in saying this, I can fix-it later... ;) The next step is to pickup our truck & trailer from North Dakota, don't know exactly how that's going to happen ...

How to operate a Grapple
Просмотров 23 тыс.4 года назад
In this video we're going to learning all the basic operations of running a professional grade grapple... This is the first published video, so you can help develop the channel with ideas and what you'd like to see next. If this is your first time seeing how grapple controls operate, I suggest grabbing pen and paper to write down notes to help remember their operations. Be sure to leave

    Is there a way to switch the controls like how you can on an Excavator? I’m so use to “CAT” controls, not “John Deere/Volvo” controls.

    I bought a freightliner rear mount rotobec 80 elite and I put the outriggers down hard and with it stretched out to the side the truck is tipping and lifting opposite side outrigger off the ground, am I doing something wrong or do I need to have debris in box for weight when reaching out?

    • @johnvicol2344
      @johnvicol2344 3 года назад

      When you say, "down hard," are you lifting the truck off the suspension (with your outriggers)?? Make sure the rear (truck) is up and level, you have to be level and completely off the trucks suspension. Both of those are important. Because the only time I've had this problem, is while unloading, and that's just because I picked a lot of weight out of my box, and as I was swinging out to dump (very fast, because I had a double-pump system), the momentum starts pulling me over. And I was setting it nicely down, so the excavator could reach it (at the dump). But normally, normally (without seeing your setup), the system just won't pick-up the load, like huge stumps for example. Hope this helps....

    • @johnvicol2344
      @johnvicol2344 3 года назад

      Best thing you can do, is trace your hoses for leaks, once you get on top of your leaks, make sure your running your system high enough (10-11 RPM)... If your out riggers aren't holding, you might have a bad check valve (that's another video in itself), which isn't that bad, just get to know your machine, and once you get one top of things, life becomes a lot simpler...

    I've been operating heavy equipment for 17 yrs running anything dealing with dirt work. The controls for the this grapple would have me looking like it's my 1st time on equipment lol, they're completely backwards compare to excavators

    • @johnvicol2344

      Running a excavator, or as how they're called pretty much everywhere a track-hoe or hoe for short lol. I operate using the SAE pattern & not to brag or anything but lol I'm a grade A hoe operator lol not the best by any means but I know what I'm doing. I can half ass operate with the ISO pattern but it looks like someone green operating lol

      My favorite thing to operate is a Dozer & have been told many times "not saying you're not good on a hoe, but you shine on a Dozer. My brother always hears the opposite.
