We just lost our 14 year old Boston in January… we are still heartbroken… best dog ever… 😓🐶

They are the ultimate mutt ! Bostons are masters at owning a home. They really love having us around, ... at all times, every second, every minute and every hour. A Boston is never more than two feet away from you and their biggest problem is anxiety. They can't be alone and some have this problem even with a baby sitter. If you leave for just twenty minutes you must prepare to be enthusiastically received at the door upon your return. Our first Boston (Jack) left us after 16 years and our latest Boston (Willy) is now only 10 months and he eats, breathes, .... and lives for my wife (his mother). These mutts are incredible human look a likes. ... and that face ! The cutest ugly face to have ever adorned a dog

I am now in my 70s and had Bostons all my life... each one my family ever had was loveable and especially quick to learn how to be the ❤of the family...so much so that I have rarely lived without one or two bostons in my life. As I write I think of the many delightful times we children had playing with each one we had...always had one living with us. Tissy, our first, to my Bebee, who may be my last...over a span of 74 years of my life... Each a special member of my family! We humans were so blessed to live side by side with them.

They can be stubborn too. We got our girl in July, she was 10 wks old. We have had 2 orhers, they lived 11, and 12 years. They're spunky and all 3 have had different personalities.

Dogs are so loyal. A dog I had years ago was so loving and loyal to me. He was just like another child to me. I loved him dearly and I know he loved me. I still miss him every day. He was my angel.

I was never a dog person until found a stray and took him in. He changed my life and now I can't imagine life without my dog.

Certain breeds tend to be more aggressive, but the biggest problem is irresponsible owners who don't train their dogs. And where I come from, the biggest problem are not pitbulls, dobermans or other big dogs- their owners understand what will happen if they won't be able to control their dog. The biggest problem are the "rats"- small and aggressive lapdogs, because owners have the excuse "oh, (s)he is so small, (s)he wont be able to hurt you"

I’ve seen pitbulls and German Shepards be the most gentle family friendly creatures ever, even around newborn kids or hamsters, Dogs are only aggressive cuz of the way they are raised. Most dogs that kill or attack ppl were rescued from illegal dogfights, but even then I have seen with my own eyes, a dog rescued from a fight, be a friendly creature who would get so happy that he would shake when going on walks and was nice to kids. wtf is the uk on about
