    Which resistance level should I buy though? I think 7lbs is a little too light and 40lbs too heavy.... maybe 15 lbs is a good one?

    • @HNLmovement
      @HNLmovement Месяц назад

      For general shoulder activation/maintenance, you can get away with the 7lbs, 10lbs, and 15lbs resistances. If you go the cheapest route, the athlete package comes with the 7lbs and 15lbs. I would suggest that at the least. However, if you are able to purchase the 10lb bands ala carte, I think you'll make use of it. I hope this helps your purchasing a little!

    • @Confucius202
      @Confucius202 Месяц назад

      @@HNLmovement so the lighter ones are for shoulder activation and the heavier ones for muscle building?

    • @HNLmovement
      @HNLmovement Месяц назад

      @sonnycornfeld I wouldn't say the crossover symmetry bands are to target muscle building of your bigger/stronger muscles. They are more focused on strength/stability of your rotator cuff and scapular stabilizing muscles (which will translate to helping you get bigger/stronger in other lifts). Even for bigger and stronger people, the 15lbs will suffice for most of the crossover symmetry exercises (7lbs will be too light for some exercises).

    ***Very Disappointed - I had high hopes for the Zygo headphones when I first ordered them because they are the only headphones that I could find that would allow streaming to your phone while swimming. I ordered a pair for my wife and I to share and we paid $299 in October of 2022. Within the first 2 weeks I began the headphones had a static noise that was going in and out, even when I was not in the water and standing next to the transmitter. After going back and forth with customer service they agreed to send me a replacement pair, but took almost a month to receive. We used the replacement pair for about 8-10 months and then we began to have connection issues and sound issues. I reached out to customer support and went back and forth for a few weeks. They asked me to send a picture of the headphones on my head to see how they fit. They told me that headphones were too small for my head and this is why I was having connection issues. Granted, my head is about 1.5 inches larger than my wife’s head, but she was having the same issue. Customer service then told me that this was not a defect in their product and would not replace them for us. They instead offered us a 20% discount on a new and improved pair?? I went back to the product descriptions and could not find anything in their marketing material that indicated the product would NOT work properly if you order the “wrong size”. I was so frustrated and asked 3 members of my gym (Lifetime Fitness) that I had seen wearing the Zygo headphones how they liked them. All of them indicated they had issues. Two out of the 3 indicated that they had to have the headset replaced for different issues. One of them has had the headset replaced twice. All three of them complained about customer service. THINK TWICE BEFORE PURCHASING THIS PRODUCT!!***

    Absolutely random comment that I hope you see - but what are you using to store your Exxentric flywheels on your rack? I’ve been looking for some kind of solution to do the same and have been just stowing them on their side in a simple basket, but that’s a bit of a pain. Band pegs in my rack are all too thick to get through the spindle hole of the flywheels… Would love to know what your solution is?

    • @HNLmovement
      @HNLmovement 5 месяцев назад

      I apologize for the late reply! Since I have the monster lite rack, those band pegs are perfect for the flywheels to sit on. If you get the monster lite band pegs, or anything that is that 5/8" diameter, that would fit perfectly. Hope that helps!

    Thank you for this very informative video. I'm 33 and I sustained my first stinger injury in bjj class going for a double leg tackle 3 days ago . I still have a little numbness in my index finger and I went to the gym today and felt signifiant weakness on that side when trying to bench press. on the drive back from the gym I felt "jolts" when I moved my neck in certain positions and there's a general feeling of weakness and discomfort on that side of my upper body. Since my first stinger injury is quite a strong one, it sounds like continuing with bjj is just inviting more nerve damage and eventually muscular weakening and complications. What a shame.

    • @HNLmovement
      @HNLmovement 5 месяцев назад

      Sorry to hear that you suffered a stinger, but I hope you are feeling better and those symptoms are subsiding. Rehab or seeing someone who can help to restore that strength will also help your recovery. Plus they can also provide some insights on how to best progress back into your activities. Brachial plexus injuries are tricky, nerves take long to fully heal and calm down if they have been injured, and when they are recovering they are easily susceptible to getting aggravated. With all of that though, it is still possible to rehab, train and get back to your activities with and rehab/training smart.

    What a great review. Thank you. How are the holding up now? How do you think these bands compare to something else like FitCord (actually made in America) or stroops? If the bands had to be replaced would you go with a different brand?

    • @HNLmovement
      @HNLmovement 11 месяцев назад

      Thank you for your feedback! They are holding up great and it's been used heavily for about 3+ years now. I don't have those other brands, but I'm sure they are comparable. I would probably go with the crossover symmetry bands if I needed to replace the bands, I think they have a pretty good shoulder activation program and their bands fit well with it.

    What about strength. Got a stinger from a neck crank in jiu-jitsu. No pain but it's been a week and my right side is very weak. I have fill range of motion and no pain. I feel it but it doesn't hurt. I can barely do 3 pushups. I'm in panic mode and praying this goes away soon

    • @HNLmovement
      @HNLmovement Год назад

      That's good that you have normal range of motion and no pain. It's always a good idea to get evaluated by a sports medicine professional. It's likely that you have some neural irritation causing loss of function that will get better as the nerve recovers, and also possibly some muscle strain from the neck crank. Gradually regain activation and strength to restore function and get back to doing push ups. Depending how severe the injury was will affect the time it takes to work back up to push ups. I hope it feels better soon
