I make garlic bread with white bread i butter on side and put garlic salt on it and stick it in the broiler and I just cook the top my mother always did it that way

I have no opinion on the baked spaghetti - don’t eat pasta- a childhood of Franco American . Portobello mushrooms make a nice meat substitute. I’d eat 2 dogs with chili - minus the buns. 😉 40° here today. No microwave is like living in the dark ages. 😂my mom always made us wait a couple of minutes before eating anything that came out of the microwave - to let the Micro waves dissipate. 😂 See ya soon!

A sandwich cut into triangles AND with frilled toothpicks? Well, la di dah! Fancy schmancy! Hey we drink grocery store brand coffee so Folger's would be a step up. But we put so much milk and creamer and occasionally Carnation Malted Milk powder in it that the taste is well disguised. And we drive a 1998 Civic hatchback that we bought new and have maintained well! :D

My daughter thinks there’s something wrong with the older generation because we like potato chips! Is the film like rainbow or like an oil/gas slick? Yuck my water smells like a swimming pool! I have Brita pitcher- the water is so stinky I have to walk away- I can’t stand at the sink while the pitcher fills. 🤣 👋👋👋I drink Folgers too - but I buy 1/2cafe . Do you have kroger in your area? They often have Folgers on sale for $6.99 - with their digital coupons that you can use 5x. And last but not least - look on the bottom for the “Best by date” I have a can with a date in September 2026😳, and I keep mine in the fridge once it’s opened. I have 8 cans of coffee in my pantry- because it was hard to find during c-19. I only lasted a few day too when my microwave died 🤦🏻‍♀️.

Let your pans get brown. That’s a good seasoned pan. If you microwave the butternut squash for a few minutes they cut much easier and bake faster. It all looks great. We got another 6” of snow last night so I made a huge pot of spaghetti sauce. I’ll have at least 12 quarts bags for the freezer.

My baking sheets are old & now black. Lol they dont stick. "Seasoned" 🤭

I use BBQ sauce for sloppy Joe’s - I’ve tried my whole life to eat canned potatoes - I just can’t - they smell like dirt🤦🏻‍♀️. I have a no egg meatloaf recipe - it’s great - I make it in mini loaf pans and freeze them - make the mess once and have meatloaf whenever I want. This is fun to watch.👍🏻 You tossed the best bit of the meatloaf - you didn’t here me 👋👋👋

We got all of the snow. 6” then 1/2” of ice then 3” more snow. Now we are getting more tomorrow night 4-6” It’s bitter cold here too. Your stroganoff warmed me right up❤

Hey - try mayo in place of butter to grill your sandwich. It works pretty good.
