New experience for you Fred, a cart shave!!! Wilkinson Sword razors are branded "Schick" here in Aus. and I did use them a lot before moving to DEs 10 years ago but very rarely use carts these days, in any case I prefer 3-blades or less. Fresh plastic smell from the Gel sounds right, haven't used a canned product for ages either, like you said lather looks too dry. It's amazing that millions of shavers have been conned into using these type of products every day and don't get satisfactory shaves, if only they knew about the DE shaving experience with a descent soap. 👌🤠👌

Another wonderful thick and creamy face lather, pays to take your time. As we head into Spring temps do start to rise here but it can get quite windy and stormy as well, late Summer & Autumn is normally the best weather period.👌🤠👌

Hi my friend. Personally i had bad experiences with rapira blades. Perhaps my fault or perhaps the type of razor i used. Seems you done pretty well yourself. Lately i've been using wilkinson sword and gillette platinum, or sometimes feather, and i'm happy with it. That soap is fantastic and the razor performs great. It's good to see you. Cheers.

Fitjar is a wonderful cream. All the scents are incredible and the performance is second to none.

I have that same brush, it looks awesome with that dark mother of pearl effect, the only thing is the 28mm knot feels a bit big, well at least for me. Great vintage look on that A&E splash bottle, A&E always had a high quality soap base. Great looking shave Fred.👌🤠👌

Hi Fred. Another great shave. I like razors with some blade feel, that's why for instance R89 is not for me. Strange but i own a cheap one that i often come to, which is the Parker R65. I find it a very agreable razor, with the right feel. Also these hot days ask for cool soaps. I'm using now Meissner Tremonia menthol. Have a good day yourself.

Mine just arrived in the post today! Finally a citrusy type soap that doesn't smell like urinal cake or dish soap! I can't wait for tomorrow morning to try it. Also came in a Sterling Ozark Mountain and an Electric Sheep, they smell fantastic too. Why doesn't my beard grow faster? 😄

Love Don's products. His videos are great as well. If you're looking for a more intense menthol soap, you might try Chiseled Face Cryogen. Think it's a bit colder. (not by leaps and bounds....but is colder)

You don't need even to shave but can't say same for me because my beard grows fast and i have very sensitive skin so that's very annoying.
