BIG SCAM AND FRAUD STAR - RUDRAA'S ECOHURT Dear All, This is true feedback ( not included a single paid or push review ) against our trip at Gufa Patal . Stayed at Rudraa's Econhut ( 11th October 2024 to 14th October 2024): 1. We are two families booked for this trip in the month of March 2024 . This package includes pick up from NJP to gufa patal via mirik, one day trip at Nepal pashupati market - Kanyam, one day Darjeeling trip via batasia loop, and return NJP after visiting Tabakoshi Rangbong River. Out of a 3-day night stay we booked 1 day two rooms ( triple occupancy) at Hut , and rest 2 days- one Room at Hut (Triple occupancy) and one Igloo ( triple occupancy) Rudra Authority asked INR -50,000 including vehicle, food and accommodation). We had agreed and paid an advance of INR 10000 in the month of March 2024. 2. The location is beautiful and full of natural beauty. On Day one we reached Rudraa's Econhut around 4.30 pm after visiting Mirik lake on Day one for check in. As soon as we reached the home stay with luggage one person came to us ( claimed he is the father of Rudra and he is the manager of that eco hurt) asked for the remaining money -INR 40000). We were shocked because we were doing tours in many home stays but no one asked the full amount before check in , normally they take advance and take the remaining amount during check out). Still we didn't tell anything and requested them to allow us little time to freshen up and take our lunch as our kids are hungry. But Rudraa's claimed father told us they will not allow check in unless we pay the full amount . So, We paid INR 10000 in cash and Remaining 15000 to GPAY ( as that aged person ( father ) told that he doesn't have an bank account so he had asked to pay the amount to another account in the name of Aparna Saha). We had little doubt about their intention ,so We said that the remaining amount - INR 15000 during check out as we are staying there for 4 days. 3. Day 1- We were given two rooms one is good but the other is too small. The toilet pipe of the basin was broken and the water was rinsing over the body whenever we were using it . Though we booked triple occupancy but the pillow was given two only and only one double blanket was given to that small room. Also there was no drinking water given in the room. No bath towel given. We requested for one extra pillow and one extra blanket ( as three of us were unable to adjust with two pillows and one blanket, weather also chilled ) , drinking water and a bath towel. They listened to us but didn't act at all. At night when we were very angry they sent a water bottle , a pillow, a blanket at night around 9.30 pm.Please note we were out of drinking water in the room for almost 4 hours . But no towel was given , as they informed us that all towels were wet and that the aged person was insisting us not to take a bath as the weather was cold. Lunch was below average and Dinner was average for all the days 4. Day 2- After returning from Nepal trip at 5 pm , we didn't even take our lunch that the aged person came to us and start asking for the remaining money even before taking our day's lunch . We told us to take our lunch and we will pay the remaining amount. He was behaving like we were running away without paying their remaining amount. Anyway we had paid our remaining amount of INR 15000 and so the full amount has been paid before 2 days of check out. After remaining paid their real face had been exposed. Room service deteriorated , any basic room service like providing drinking water in the room , providing a bath towel etc . Even they have denied to provide us with a new toilet kit on day 2 too. Second day it was a stay at Igloo. The floor was wet and below the ground mat there was full of water. Water was dropping inside the tent ( igloo). There was no electricity at Igloo from 8 am , we had to take a bath in cold water and used our own bath towel which we had brought with us. We informed Rudra over the call but nothing had changed too much. 5. Day 3 - They changed our vehicle from innova to Mahindra Bolero which doesn't have any career. The day three trip was normal as per schedule , nothing happened much. But this time also no towel and no drinking water in the room. But as we have understood that we have fallen under the big trap of a fraud person so we had bought drinking water bottles from the outside market . 6. Day 4- The biggest scam started on day 4 - on check out date. On day 3 night we informed the homestay authority that pls change the vehicle on day of check out with in day 3 as the vehicle ( Bolero ) which they provided doesn't have carrier. As we have luggage, Bolero has less space and doesn't have carrier so requested to provide the 1st vehicle ( innova ) which had carrier or any vehicle carrier. But that aged person arranged the same vehicle which doesn't have carrier at 10.30 am. We refused to take this vehicle as there is no place to carry out luggage. He was insisting to manage with the same vehicle and do the remaining trip and go back to Siliguri/ NJP on same day. We refused. So, he told us to arrange our vehicle on our own. We told him that we have paid the full package cost including last day trip and drop off. He threatened us that as we have paid in cash to him and paid the remaining through GPAY to another id ( as per his request we paid the remaining amount to Aparna Saha' s account) so we cannot do anything by complaining to any one. Immediately we tried to connect several times with Rudra's number but this time he didn't pick up our call. We were in deep soup. We had three kids ( one is 3 years old ), two house wives. Everyone tensed. We requested one of their room service guy to help to solve the issue as we are in deep mess. He asked us to wait a little and assure us to do something on his own. Later on around 1 pm arranged two vehicles ( one maruti Omni and one maruti Swift). The visit to Tabakoshi Rangbong River and other sight seeing have been cancelled as those vehicles will not go there though we had paid for that . We have no other option as the place is new to us and we have a train from NJP in the evening. SO, MY REQUEST TO EVERY ONE BE DOUBLE CAREFUL ABOUT DO ANY PAYMENT TO THESE GUYS . THERE ARE MANY HOMESTAYS WHICH ARE HAVING VERY GOOD VIEW ROOMS, FAR MORE CHEAPER AND GOOD ROOM SERVICES NEARBY. PLEASE DON'T FALL ON THESE SCAM AND THESE FRAUDULENT ACTIVITIES . You have hard earned money so be double assured before paying anything to RUDRAA'S ECOHURT. Not only will I share my experience with this group but also every social media, social travel groups and society so that everyone can be aware about this scam. Also , today we need to pay extra 550/- for reaching njp station to driver.

Thik jri room ta duplex e dyakhalen, ota te e chhilam. Room r samne balcony te bose lunch hoto. R room e dinner. Amon ki siri die homestay obdhi kono railing o chhilo na. Seta chilo amar first pahar dyakha. Khub valo laglo aj abar dekhe. Kintu ager kolakham k khub miss korlam
