    • @MajorJackstreet
      @MajorJackstreet 2 месяца назад

      I saw your comment earlier, not sure if it was deleted or something but I can't find it, it just showed up in my notifications. But the reason I didn't have Maryland included in the Southern Wagon video is because sadly Maryland never officially seceded, unlike Kentucky and Missouri. When it comes to the Indian Territory and Arizona Territory, the Arizona Territory joined the CSA and decided to be a territory within it. Oklahoma I just included because most of the Native Americans there fought for the CSA. The reason I included Maryland in this video is because this video is about the Song of the Southland, I wish I was in Dixieland, and the map shown in this video is a map of Dixieland, the American South. It's just sadly Maryland never seceded or joined the CSA. But it is below the Mason-Dixon which means it is part of the South/Dixieland. But sadly never a Confederate State. Thank you for your comment, and I apologize for any inconvenience.

      @@MajorJackstreetNo need to apologize, the alphabet squad yanks in Silicon Valley always delete my comments. I thought you were another channel that’s why I commented what I commented, I didn’t see it was another video of your’s. I also didn’t see it was CSA related instead of Dixie related. Maryland is Southern and below the Mason Dixon but didn’t join the CSA and most people think of CSA only when they think of the South and as a proud Southern Marylander I always feel the need to point that out. I’ve seen this video previously and liked it cause I saw Maryland on the map of the South which is something I don’t see too often, and as someone who grew up on the Eastern Shore, I’ve always identified with the South a little more than the North. We’re more than just Rural in culture, we’re definitely Southern. Plantations, Confederate Flags and accents. Although we do have a lot of Catholics up here myself included that split with the Protestant population. We may have not joined the CSA but we were held at gun point not to by Lincoln. We did try at the Annapolis General Assembly before they shelled Baltimore and pointed the cannons at Annapolis before threatening to invade the Eastern Shore. Then the Federal government overreached and moved the State convention to the West from Annapolis to Frederick, so they could control it and supervise it by order of Governor Hicks whom they convinced. The Assembly was ended early and unfairly, Maryland was declared to stay with the Union. Not the biggest Abe Lincoln fan at all.

    • @MajorJackstreet
      @MajorJackstreet Месяц назад

      I completely agree, Maryland was supposed to secede and planned on seceding but they were forced to stay in the Union by the North and held at gunpoint. Lincoln made Maryland pretty much Martial Law and also ordered to arrest any individuals of the press who even mentioned Maryland secession in newspapers or simply even called out Lincoln for his "questionable" actions as president... (Tyrannical acts that is) and they would be charged with crimes that didn't exist or charged with crimes that they never committed, and would also be charged without due process of law and without a trial... Even Maryland Government Officials were arrested by Lincoln's Regime for simply talking about the possibility of Maryland Seceding...

    A shame Stonewall never lived to repent for slavery. Even a slavery hating yankee like me can freely admit that he was the second best General during the war.

    • @Cooldude-sc1eu
      @Cooldude-sc1eu 3 месяца назад

      Stonewall himself never owned slaves, he believed slavery was an immoral institution just like Lee. He also had hope that the Confederate Government would eventually make slavery illegal after the war was won… He did believe though that if slavery was to exist, the only good person to have slaves would be a good Christian, because in the Bible it says that if anyone is a “slave”, they are not to be treated as property, but as a servant who is serving their “master”, and they had kind of a hierarchy where the family was first God, then the Husband, then the Wife, then the Servant. and thankfully the majority of the slaves in the south were treated as such. I mean I don’t like slavery at all and believe it’s a horrible institution but if slavery were to have to exist, the only best way is that way… and sadly there were many slaves who were treated as property and hurt in the north and the south during the war and I don’t believe in any way that should exist.. and sadly in our school systems they teach it was nothing but that… I will also say that when I think about the confederacy or anything southern, slavery never comes to my mind until a northerner brings it up, I don’t believe the south seceded for slavery, it just doesn’t make sense to me at all… and even if somehow they did, the main idea is to honor the soldiers who fought, and they simply fought to protect their homes against an overwhelming invader in numbers… and they knew that invader would destroy their homes and states, and that invader would also commit atrocities against their people and families, including r***.. and that they would also execute and torture the servants there aswell… and the union army did just that against southern people during that war…

    • @Cooldude-sc1eu
      @Cooldude-sc1eu 3 месяца назад

      @@zacharyriley4561 bro what are you on..? First of all the Bible says many things about slavery like Colossians 4:1 “Masters, give your bond servants what is just and fair, knowing that you also have a Master in heaven.” And like Ephesians 6:9 “And you, masters, do the same things to them, giving up, threatening, knowing that your own Master also is in heaven, and there is no partiality with Him.” There’s many Bible verses that talk about slavery and state that the servant has rights and the master should not treat them however they like… Second Stonewall didn’t own slaves, neither did Lee, I believe Lee actually was more against slavery than many other Confederate Generals. And also what’s funny is that General Grant owned slaves himself as the Commander of the Union Army… And someone like Nathan Bedford Forrest, he did indeed own slaves and I don’t know how he treated them, but I will say, he was the first grand wizard of the Ku Klux Klan if I’m not mistaken, and was in it when it was pretty much a joke group of guys who would go around pulling “pranks” on people as we would call it today. But when many people started to terrorize and murder innocent blacks, he left the Klan and worked hard for much of his life to get the White Men who committed those atrocities executed for their crimes and to also abolish the KKK, and towards the end of his life he took it a step further and advocated for Civil Rights of African Americans in the USA… Also, when people say the south seceded for slavery, it just doesn’t make sense to me, like why would half of the entire nation secede to preserve an institution that first of all, was not at a significant threat at the moment, and second, only 3% if the Population Practiced, and only 1% of that 3% owned more than 2 slaves… I’ve seen the Ordinances of Secession that the Government tells us is the real deal. But it just doesn’t make sense to me, it almost seems like when it mentions slavery, it’s just been almost, in the best way I can say it, copied and pasted in there after the fact… It just doesn’t look right to me or seem right… the south seceding to protect slavery is like if in the modern day, the entire western half of the continental 48 United States seceded and formed their own country to protect “vegan rights”… like it just seems ridiculous to me… and even if somehow the south did secede for slavery, the main idea is that the southern soldiers who fought in that war were simply fighting the same cause that the Colonists were fighting and that was to protect themselves against an overwhelming invader who was oppressing them. They knew what the Union would do when they got down there and that’s why they fought, the Union army murdered, tortured, and r***ed southern women, children, and in some cases, slaves as well. And those actions are sickening to me but it happened… And yes there were horrible slave owners like the “slave breeder..” 🤮 and shit but the very very vast majority of southern soldiers simply fought in self defense and only fought to protect themselves, and that’s why after the war the Confederacy became so much apart of southern culture for both Whites and Blacks, and many other races, it only represented Southern people and the south as a region of the United States. I mean many African Americans also fought and many volunteered to fight for the south for the same cause as everyone else, to protect their homes and states… and cornerstone speech on the other hand, that is another situation where it seems like it’s just a copied and pasted into history type of situation, it looks just too fake it looks literally like it was written by the north to gain political power and make people think, “hey, this dudes the bad guy!” But like I said, even if it was true, the main idea is to honor the veterans who fought a noble cause… just like Vietnam or Iraq, we may not think it was okay why we went there, but it doesn’t mean we should disrespect our veterans who gave their all to fight, as I’ve heard many say about Southern Veterans, “All gave some, and some gave all…” and when you talk about Paramilitaries or I’m assuming you could say Militias.. I mean that’s pretty common in revolutions, they aren’t gonna be that organized when they are literally trying to form a government and organized military force in the middle of a war… the American Revolution started with Militias, and was composed of a lot of its military force during the war… and also if Sherman did originally only want to bring the war to the rich, he brought it further than that, his men murdered and r***ed innocent Southern Women and Children, who had nothing to do with the rich, they were just people who lived there and their houses and towns were ransacked, looted, and burned to the ground… Sherman was a madman, he was practically a terrorist as you would say today, and if he did what he did today he would probably be more wanted than Putin right now for war crimes…
