Hi everyone!
My name is Emilie Gauvin and I am a professionally trained designer and seamstress. I am a cosplayer, artist, designer, pink fashionista and all-around lover of cute things.
On my channel you will find regular updates of my work, behind the scenes of shoots and, most importantly, useful tutorials on how to construct a variety of costumes and props for your own sewing projects.
My goal is to undo the myth of the scary sewing machine and make cosplay and sewing as accessible to everyone!

Very titillating project. What was the overall weight?
I wouldn't be able to tell but it's definitely very light. I managed to wear for several hours at a con and didn't feel any fatigue around my back and shoulders.
So you made a human flesh bra. I bet many women (including me) would love to have the option to go bigger temporarily

Honestly if you’re a cosplayer just buy the silicone “chest” online. It’s not THAT expensive if you plan on reusing it and you will save yourself tons of time and work. The durability and quality is also worth it so think about it
I will say, the one she made seem like it’s lighter than the silicon ones. Sometimes with a big cosplay weight can be a factor if you’re wearing it for a long time

Hi! I'm trying to make a Darth Maul costume for Halloween and I can't find any cloth measurements or patterns. Do you have a pattern that you went off of or did you make your own pattern?
I made my own patterns using the Jedi set from juliechantal.com I heavily modified them so I don't know how useful they would be unless you were already familiar with patterning.

hi! where did you get the feathers? also how did you make a 3d print of your face? I'm completely new to cosplay and would love any tips that you have!!
I found the feathers on Etsy! The 3D print of my face was done using a 3D scanning technology. I was only able to do that thanks to my old job having the facility to do so. Unfortunately, it's not something accessible to most.

Sorry I don't :( But I'd really recommend making the pattern from scratch since our leg and shoe base might be very different.

You’re an absolute life saver for this! Honestly just showing us your process and breaking it down step by step helped me organize my thoughts for how I’d like to go about making my own shtola. My brain just couldn’t deconstruct her outfit well due to the monochromatic nature, so I really appreciated seeing the highlighted image with different fabric and piece assignments etc. I know filming adds a lot of extra time to a project, so seriously thank you!! The end result is absolutely stunning!!

Thank you! Not wings but I’m planning on mounting a big clockwork key to my back and didn’t want to have to make holes in things, so seeing someone else go through the process was a big help! If I may ask, did you find the final magnet situation to be just right or a little on the strong/weak side? And how easy were they to pull apart to take off again? (I imagine mine will need to hold through quite a few layers of fabric…)
They were very strong! I wore them several times since I've made them and they handles three days of jam packed con floor no problem.
