I am myself a doctor and experienced a chemical pregnancy because i was a bit alert and kept a check on my entire cycle as i can read the signs and was trying to concieve. My hcg levels wer raised on day 14 post conception and I even started on progesterone but within 2 days they came out negative in blood test. On UPT i only had faint lines. When i spoke to my gynae(2of them) they gave a very casual reply like oh its just chemical pregnancy and u will get your periods. Walk and exercise and this and that. I had total hysterectomy this year coz i was having endometriosis. Heavy periods, limitless bleeding n weakness in body. My periods would last for 12 to 20 days n my last period lasted for 42 days. Well I had no clue this was possible, they just removed the hemi uterus. But they did mention my main uterus was larger than would be expected. But trying to conceive now and no luck. I hope others can learn this before doctors remove the tissue!
