I love my raccoons too. I think they are God's little comedians. Last night, one of my big 'uns was asleep on the top step, leaned up against the back door, snoring. I heard him through the door. Woke me up.

I had a pet raccoon when I was little & mom would ask "coon" if he wanted to go for a ride and being the car was a 57 Chevy he never didn't want to because raccoons love shiny stuff and he would always try to steal the knobs and levers out of the car. ❤

I never knew their front teeth were so human like. And you can see how gentle it is being.

This animal is missing some teeth.

Yeah, that’s not the reaction I got when I confronted two of them last week in my backyard. They were ready to attack me, and one even rushed me before I retreated inside. I heard some noise around the tomato plants and thought it was a possum, but saw it was a pair of raccoons when I turned on my cell phone light.

I feed a family of raccoons 3 times a week (it's what I can afford) and they always "wait"(?) for me - it's almost as if they can tell time! Not actually sure what the point of my story is, other than I share your love of the little bandits! ❤😊
