FYI discharging your battery close or above the C rating is not good for the longevity of the battery. Rule of thumb is don't exceed 10 percent of the Ah rating in Amps. Assuming your kettle is 2kW. 120V supply thats I=2000/120=17. Which is more than the 0.1×100Ah=10A recommended limit. Obviously I'm making assumptions about your new Ah rating and kettle power and inverter voltage and C rating but just be aware. Also don't trust the manufacturer C ratings. 0.5-1C is most common even when 1.5 or 2C is claimed. Happy vanning.

I did the van life for 3 months one year and 4 months the next year. Not because I needed to but because I wanted to travel the west coast. I think I'd wanna try it long term, especially now that I'm single. I think I'd like it much more by myself. Carry on yall you seem happy and you're living life, what more can you ask for?

Van life is elite for one major reason-all your money goes to YOU and nothing an apartment or house can offer will ever be better than not paying some Dbag money to exist while they lord over you and refuse to fix things in the dwellings!

I can only imagine your joy.. it may be similar to when I finally got an automatic washing machine, I had been using my Grandparents old twin tub for a few years and finally was gifted a friends old top loader... I made myself a coffee and put my chair in the laundry, and just sat and listened to it do the washing for me! Try to never lose your happiness over the little things :)
