    Do you ever wish you had the front wheels option to keep it from digging into the front corners? Would you ever buy a cutter without a suspension system like this one? Just wondering if this model is worth getting over others due to suspension system. Thanks for the feedback.

    I have this weed eater, for our 5 acres, lots of blackberries so this is a must. I’m curious what gas are you using? I’ve only used it a couple times but so far it’s been with premixed gas. The motomix is expensive, $45 for a gallon of it. Also I know how hard it to to get stuff done with a baby to look after too. My daughter is 1.5 now and just finding time to do yardwork and have her is always a fun challenge 😂

    Excellent review! Has your wife used it? I'm a woman, petite, and I love Stihl products! I purchased my FS 131 from my small engine shop a few hours ago. They have one section devoted to Stihl. It's my fourth Stihl product. I bought them all this month from that store. We're on four acres of land. Lots of small trees, brush, and bamboo-type vegetation. I have all the recommended gear except the steel-toed boots. I do have steel-toed shoes; however, I plan on getting the boots. I have a Husqvarna zero turn for grass cutting. Having the right tools makes a challenging task much more enjoyable and manageable. I used to do a lot of this with my manual tools. This is a welcome change. I'm looking forward to using it later today.

    • @MDTripleCreekRanch
      @MDTripleCreekRanch Год назад

      My wife not so much but her sister has been helping around the farm this spring and she has used it a lot. It sounds like your set up with everything you need so on 4 acres this is definitely the right tool for you. I bet that zero turn is also extremely helpful for you. We have definitely learned it’s better to buy the right tools for the right job and not fight it if you can.

    • @MDTripleCreekRanch
      @MDTripleCreekRanch Год назад

      It allows a tunnel for the puppies to escape if momma lays down and pens one up against the wall. It’s something my dad did when I was a little kid and I have continued to use it. I have noticed it works really well. It’s a 2x4 on edge and it’s 3.5 inches up.

    Hey man I have a question so I just bought a new dog from a adoption center and he had a brother doggy we put a deposit on to get as well but we wanted to let lightning(the dog we just adopted)get used to the house and talk it over with the family. Now that we have had him for about a month we Gave the adoption center a call and said we are going to pick him up and they told us that they sold him without telling us or notifying us before hand and we never backed out of the deal should I demand they made a mistake and honor the deposit

    • @MDTripleCreekRanch
      @MDTripleCreekRanch Год назад

      Definitely try and get your deposit back. Especially if you have it in writing. The biggest reason we would not refund the deposit is if we have gone out of our way to get you the puppy and then you back out of the deal. That has happened to us a couple of times. Best of luck to you and sorry I wasn’t more timely with my response. This spring has been crazy busy on the farm.

    Does under the deck or a patio need ventilation??

    • @MDTripleCreekRanch
      @MDTripleCreekRanch 2 года назад

      I used green wood so once it dried “over a couple months” it shrank and left about a 1/8th inch gap between each board. For my climate in the mid west it has been enough ventilation. If your concerned about ventilation you could easily add some small vents or intentionally leave a larger gap between each board. I personally like the looks of this with a 1 inch gap between each board as well. I’m not a contractor but I have been very happy with the looks and function of my deck skirt. I hope this helps and best of luck to you.

    Well done Sir. To speed the process up you could have just cut the dogears off then set up a 29" stop block and just knocked it out that much quicker. With the size of your saw you could easily cut 4-6 stacked boards at a time. Looks good!

Great safety feature but when I’m putting out hay by my self I need to open the door and climb out even with the boom up a few inches. That was our deciding factor with this machine.
