Just got back from strawberry last night, had to camp in insane snow but 5 am the fish were BITING. Think we caught 40 in the first hour, when strawberry is hot it’s hot, sometimes not so much

I believe it was a crappie from a pool by the railroad tracks in Springville. I was 6 years old, I think.
first fish i caught was a trout, i was probably 3, just cause my dad gave me the rod
I faintly remember in 2012 i was about 7 and some how with a small spider man rod i caught a 15 LB drum

I use barbless when i'm not planning to take home fish to eat,and use regular hooks when i will not release them anyway. And also it depends the water i'm fishing on(what they allow for fishermen to use)

I catch them on curly tails at other places, but I’ve never caught one at Scofield.
