Ich habe Ihn einmal live gehört und Er reiste mit seiner Mutter, die Ihn vor jedem hermetisch abschirmte. Sie hatte die volle Kontrolle und bestimmte die Anzahl und das Setting von Autogrammen. Er wirkte auf mich wie ein Zirkuspferd, was seine Kunststücke ( in dem Falle Liszt) vorführen muss und Er wirkte auf mich eher traurig, was Er aber musikalisch nicht zum Ausdruck bringen konnte. Alles in allem schade, dass Er schon in jungen Jahren verheizt wurde und heute (2023) hört man kaum noch irgend etwas über ihn. Er spricht 6 Sprachen und studierte später Mathematik. Ich wüßte nicht, dass Er heute musikalisch noch nennenswert in Erscheinung tritt. Jedenfalls blieben meine Recherchen erfolglos.

Impressive. This recording was good enough to make me want to listen to more of her work. I'm not sure if it's up there with Bolet's version, but I'd have to listen to both of them again to be sure of that.

Achúcarro remains striving to make his first class technique as inconspicuous as possible in serving the cause of Music. He is an Honor to music.
