First video on purebreds and their problems within breeding environment. Thank you for doing this video. As I. Have been seeing with other breeds there is a big problem I. E. Frencie bull dos. At rescue sites where breeders let the pups go the health issues are large. Is there anything I can do to get breeding that can change these pups who are adorable from being put into marketplace.

In 2023, I had to let my beautiful Golden girl go just shy of her 12th birthday due to DM and it just broke my heart into pieces and was such an emotional (and physical) struggle to go through with her. We battled it every step of the way, medically, and with acupuncture and cold laser therapy and the wonderful Help em Up harness. I don't wish that struggle on any dog owner. I have lost a Golden to Lymphoma in the past, and DM is a much scarier disease to me. It's SUCH an important one to rule out of breeding lines, and prior to going through it with her, I had never heard of it. Back then, her breeder just did the basics (heart, eyes, hips, elbows). I'm not sure when the genetic testing portfolio really took off, but it's such a blessing and a wonderful tool for breeders and dog owners to give pups their best chances for a healthy and long lived life. Thank you for going over all of this excellent and educational info. ❤
