Latin American Perspectives (LAPerspectives) is a theoretical and scholarly journal that fosters discussion and debate on the political economy of capitalism, imperialism, and socialism in the Americas. For more than forty years, it has published timely, progressive analyses of the social forces shaping contemporary Latin America. LAPerspectives offers a vital multidisciplinary view of the powerful forces that shape the Americas, covering many disciplines including: anthropology; critical theory; economics; geography; ecology; history; international relations; media, literature, art and culture; political science and political economy; sociology; urban studies; and women's and gender studies.
