Of course :) Yeah on PC I used Sky Dolly (replay tool), so that gave me the ability to setup the drone cam wherever I wanted (could even control with an Xbox controller) and hit play to replay the flight I had flown previously. Not sure if there are any options on Xbox like that though. Hopefully MS2024 flight control replay will be in Xbox that would let you do similar

Yeah this was one of my very early vids while still tweaking a lot of settings. Recording in VR always looks a lot more shakey and stuttery than the experience through the headset. Plus this was long before I had discovered how to get Motion Reprojection working which makes things a lot smoother :) My internet is also around 100mb. New to PC, coming from PS, so still learning a lot as I go :)

@@nzbankboyinvr4713 Well you wasted a ton of money for FS 2020 buying an old school PC from 4+ decades ago. LOL. Xbox Series X gives me an excellent representation of a very expensive PC for a mere AU$749.00. All the best with your Dinosaur personal computer. By 2025 they will be dead and replaced by SOC. ;-)

Yeah good that a wider range of people get to experience MSFS, looking forward to some of the optimisations that are due before the end of the year, as well as some good helis!

Thanks 😊 I was pretty happy with my first attempt at recording VR too! For sure, in terms of settings, if you have the G2 headset and similar setup to me, I can let you know what I did, otherwise, try and find others with similar setup to you and follow some of their settings, VRFlightsimguy and Pieintheskytours had some really helpful videos! I think I researched a number of RUclips’s, forums and discords about 3 weeks first to get to this point 😂 I used the GeForce Experience to record, then had to use Davinci Resolve (free version) to crop the image out of the goggle recording you end up with. Seemed to give clearer image than the mirror in WMR portal. Also if you use Open XR toolkit and have fixed foveated rendering on, you will either need to crop out the ugly black pixels at the edge of the image that appear, or turn it off for your recording :)

Ultra Anisotropic filt 8 Supersampling 8x8 Synthesis high Waves high Shadow maps 768 Terrain shadows 128 Contact shadows medium Windshield high Ambient occ. low Cube map 192 Raymarched low Light shafts off Bloom off Glass cockpit medium Traffic - airport life all around 30 Boats/road vehicles 50 Ships and fauna 100 Open XR Upscaling FSR Anamorphic off Size 100 Sharpness 40 FFR 85% 1/4 X 95% 1/16X Saved them as a good go to, but always tweaking around to try and get smoother! :) hope that helps
