As time permits, I'll be sharing random items from my film and video collection. Some will be of local interest to the east-central Mississippi area (like old local news, scenes from places that no longer exist, videos made while in high school, etc.) as well as items transferred from my 16mm film collection (vintage commercials, game shows, promotional films, etc.). I feel that one person having the only existing copy of a lot of this material is not the best idea, so I'm happy to share! I want to make sure it's preserved and available should anything ever happen to me or to my collection.
The Herb Shriner Show November 24, 1949 Episode 13
Here's a very rare piece of television history. It's the 13th episode of The Herb Shriner Show, a 5-minute program airing 5 nights a week on CBS from November 1949 through February 1950. In this episode, Herb talks about the turkey dinners served during his time in the army. There were quite a few ripped sprocket holes on this film. It isn't perfect, but I repaired it as best I could. I have perf-fix tape but not a machine to apply it.

Kimbies Diapers Commercial "Richest Kid"
The greatest and funniest Universal Picture i have ever seen in my life. Every single time i watch this masterpiece, i swear to god, i immediately start having a laugh attack. This film is as legendary as Jamie Marchi's ball point pen.
is this AI upscaled or ripped from the original masters? it's too smooth
Thanks for posting this. It's one I don't remember.

Johnny Olson rhymed “man of means” and “jeans” decades before the Diff’rent Strokes theme song!
Original flippers probably made the wheel longer to stop during rotation.
1968/1969 commercial! I remember it!
i love all the ajax commercials period
From 1968-1969.
I love Tricuit crackers!!!
Planters Cooking Oil looked like it might have been better than Crisco.😊
Ithought that Wonder Chips tasted better than Frito Lay. Wonder also used to make sandwich cookies.😊
Wow I forgot all about Cremora. My mother and two older sisters used to drink it in their coffee all the time.😊
I used to love the Ajax white knight, he was one of my favorite advertising characters.😊
I wish that I could go back in time with about $100 and shop in that 1970s Kroger store. Maybe I could buy a whole lot of stuff.😊
I liked Jif but I thought that Planters Peanut Butter tasted the best, but the don't make it anymore.😢
I wish that they had kept the big talking apple on the box, instead of changing it to the two kids. I thought the big talking apple was fun.😅
"Never borrow money needlessly, just when you must..."
Seen on American Bandstand
Can you please upload a TV commercial of Max Factor, Revlon, or Cover Girl Makeup from the 70’s? Thank you.
If you would have added a cartoon face to the lips in this commercial, then you would have gotten something that takes you back to the time of Syncro-Vox cartoons (Clutch Cargo, Space Angel, and Captain Fathom).
The 70's version of the classic Ajax jingle
Stronger than dirt!
0:21 the f?
Back the Lowes didn't spread all over America
Was this a pie and restaurant chain in the NYC area to counterpart the Midwest Poppin' Fresh Pies chain?
Before Lowe's became a hardware store chain??
I love Gladiators and Wagoneers
I always hear stories of this bridge from you guys, great view of the truck in a nature setting. I didn’t know the bridge was drivable until now
Wayne Howell not only did this show, but he was the voice of Concentration in its later years and the Miss American Pageant for many years.
3:13 Jack Taylor (guy who explains how to win at home on "Win With the Stars") was also a long time newscaster during the 60s and 70s on WGN-TV Channel 9 in Chicago
Interesting their copyright date is missing an 'X'. John reminds me of Duane Jones from _Night of The Living Dead_ which was out the same year.
Finally!
How 'nice" to have deadly GUNS and gun violence in a commercial for the kiddies.
People in the 50s didn't care, did they
Originally broadcast in COLOR, This episode of The Dating Game was taped on October 21st, 1967
He was quite good at this. Good old Rockford.
Who knew back then that Toyota would become the top selling car in the US!
So this show that Allen Ludden did was a reworking or a revamp of What's This Song? which was Wink Martindale's first game show he hosted!
With that Bug, I'll be they stopped for gas every two weeks
