This ranked match was played on 10/20/24. I did the most damage on my team using Naked's Ultimate build. It was so good that the build actually got nerfed on 10/25/24. We'll see if the build is still usable in the future. #deadlock #mcginnis #gameplay

Hey guys, theres a new Support Mcginnis build thats been gaining popularity. A team ran it in a recent tournament and actually won the whole thing! I've been trying it out in my games today, and I think its pretty good! Its called "Quig Mcginnis Support 9/30" in the browse builds section in the shop for anyone who wants to find it. #deadlock

I tried Spirit Mcginnes in a Few Deadlock games and I still don't know what to think of her. I'm still trying to optimize her builds. #deadlock
It was hilarious seeing everytime Psylocke would pop her ult you would pop yours, they were probably so annoyed 😂 Great play!

no i havnt, it seems like an unintended part of the ult, so i dont use it
Support is easy to play but is also hardest one to carry the game bc at the end of the day team with more Damage wins. That's my whole experience of climbing to higher elo. You can healbot all you want when u get braindead dps doing 5k dmg while enemy pumps 25k out. I legit had games where I did 15k dmg and 70k heal and still lost like it just doesn't matter. Plus most healers get carried by premades anyway doubt anyone queues solo heal. Team with good healers and bad dps/tank is insta lose.. Team with bad healers and god dps/tanks is gonna win 9 out of 10..
youre so right, gm2 is getting hard to gain elo. i actually win more games when i dont support. i mostly just wanted to express that filling support as a dps or tank player can give you free wins sometimes
I recently lost in a comp match to an enemy team with 3 supps with one of them having 70k heals...I was livid

her are almost as good, but her ult isnt as good. she can die while ulting which sucks
@@saljayDL Luna and Mantis can die during their ults as well if they take enough damage (same as CD) and the amount of healing per second is in order Luna > CD > Mantis so if anything Mantis is easier to kill during her ult. The issue with CD's ult is that nobody stands in it for some reasons, if people did it would be much stronger lol
Cloak dagger is one of the lowest winrate champions in ranked.
oh yeah ur right, i think i just time the start up of cloaks and daggers ult badly and die prematurely lol
i find that surprising tbh, i really think she is good and overall winrate is different past diamond, i could be wrong
Facts. I hard carried every game out of bronze even as a solo queue support. Tho now is it just me or the matchmaking be getting worse in higher ranks lmao, I expect instalock dps going 1-5 in bronze but not in big plat 1/diamond 3

I noticed a lot of ultimate/spirit focused builds getting nerfed as of late. I wonder how many more patches it will take before the game gets dominated by gun focused builds on most heroes.
I think a hybrid weapon turret build is on the rise, its nice it builds fortitude, heroic aura, and rapid recharge. its not bad tbh

Great gameplay, I think building tank is a good idea on her. Her dmg output is already great if she is allowed to fire continuously
yea ult is so good maxxed, u can build w.e you want, and ty so much
I just focus on her ult. Cooldown reduction. Range. Etc. People on the enemy team get so pissed especially when you’re at the enemy stronghold because you basically have your ult every 30 seconds and destroy all their minions as they spawn. I use a slow build + anti heal. So any time they get hit by my ult they have -40% healing reduction and 70% slow. Along with turrets applying almost the same thing. Basically I’m annoying as hell Early game it kills everyone so easily. Late game she becomes a a debuffer towards the other team. I don’t even invest in her gun till end game, even though it’s strong. I’m going to need to try your triple active debuff build or add it to what I’m already using looks fun
yeah that seems really good, i mostly build to maximize winning the mid game, my build falls off a bit in the late game but im fine with that usually. I have been trying mystic slow for the 70 percent slow its nice. Honestly you can build any spirit item you want with mcginnis, her ult does insane damage regardless of the build if you max it. I hope the build works well for you!
@@saljayDL yeah she’s pretty underrated almost always when I pick her as my main choice I find a match instantly whereas if it’s haze,seven,vindicta it takes a while. I’ve been thinking maybe cooldown reduction might be overkill though since she already has her ult pretty often though. Thanks for the reply! Love the video

With the nerfs to restor shot what are your thoughts on taking basic mag-> Titanic for extra push/obj and overall dps. Or is melee charge enough on the mag capacity?
I've been taking basic mag for my recent games in preparation for ranked's release, It's really good for winning lane! I think I would still leave restor shot in here, even after the nerfs, for beginners because extra sustain and armor allows for more mistakes new players will make in lane, so its not as punishing for them. But if youre a seasoned gamer, I think you can replace restor shot with basic mag.

I am loving the item and POV edits, POV especially since it helps fill down time and I don't think I have ever seen anyone else do that. I will say you have the quietest audio known to man. I usually have my audio at 40, for this vid it was at 100 and I could only hear voice lines clearly (why voice lines? IDK)

youre right haha. ive seen better hazes play the lane better. however, ive got like 500 games on mcginnis with a 63 percent winrate, most hazes arent gonna beat me
Small tip I've learnt to use, hold alt and press 1, 2, 3 or 4 to spent your ability points without having to hover your mouse and loose focus on the lane or fight you're busy with

How do you feel about the new turrets after the patch? I love the 25% slow it procs on enemies worth the nerfs
I'm not sure too sure ill be honest. First impression was that its good, but after playing a few games, theyre really squishy and die quick. Im stil ltrying to see.
@@saljayDL Turrets wreck lower MMR games because people don't focus them and all I see now is Echo Shard turret spam on objectives or even mid boss at 12 minute mark. McGinnis is one grossly OP hero in the right hands.
@@celexample 12 minutes mid boss is crazy lol. people shoot the turrets alot in my games, so ive been testing a support/heal/turret spam build with mystic slow, health nova, rescue beam, and herioc aura, and bullet shredder
Siphon bullets and your turrents get more health
