I had to preform this in my theater days. I had the same role as John Travolta, but since the program wasn’t gender neutral they made the mother a father. I was the only guy in the program. It was met to be fun for everybody, but it wasn’t fun for me. I didn’t say anything as I saw no point in complaining. It was one of my best performance, and I was center stage for most of it.I guess I was the star. We only did that musical number.
