3:43 is where you really hear it but if you listen, the whole song feels like it's made of the corpse of the merchant's song, twisted and pulled into a new shape
Anyone notice that the melody at 3:35 is very similar to Shaman village (or marika's theme) ruclips.net/video/_Zh4jIgrrB8/видео.html&ab_channel=TOMITO and right next to it is the frenzy flame merchat song 3:43. This gives us some clue that Midra could be Marika's relative, possibly father.
Midra: THE DEPTHS OF YOUR FOOLISHNESS! Me: oh come on it can't be that bad Midra: (Turns into the fucking King in Yellow) Me: OKAY SO IT'S IN THE BALLPARK.
The way the DLC was subtly hinting at the presence of the Frenzied Flame all over the place without directly stating anything, only to be hit with THIS bossfight was honestly one of my biggest highlights
The violin parts are actually the music that plays under Leyndell, right before the three fingers, it reminds me how everyone trapped down there keep haunting the flame
This is without a doubt the best and most epic track in the entire souls franchise. Soul of cinder was always amazing to me, Radagon took it's place as my favorite track and now this is my top pick. The whole thing is amazing but when those large bass hits come in mid fight it's just unbeatable.
Fun fact! Midra’s theme is a variation of the theme the merchants play on their instruments
God this track goes so hard
Absolutely gorgeous
shiver me timbers mate
3:44 ELDEN RING'S PLIN PLIN PLONG!
Forgive

firefox on 100, system on 100, physical speaker switch on 100 and its STILL NOT LOUD ENOUGH
The dance of madness!
I love the little frenzied merchant parts in the second phase
THE DEPTHS OF YOUR FOOLISHNE- AGGHHH!!!
The Abyssal woods, Midra’s manse and the boss fight are all very Bloodborne coded, the violin contributes to this the most, very reminiscent of Maria!
I'm sorry the only thing I can hear at the beginning is, "ohhh... shiiiiit... Ohhhh... Shiiiit... OHHHH... FUCCKKK... SHIIIIT... HOLEEEEE..."
Shabiri would fit better tbh
HUGE Lugwig theme vibes at 3:40
Now that I killed midra does that mean I’ve ascended to become the true lord of Frenzy instead of a frenzy demigod?
anyone got the tabs for this?

He's the ludwig of elden ring.
3:43 My favorite part, it reminds me of falling, falling a lot!
Crazy to say it but, about as good as Ludwig the holy blade.
3:42 those "BBBRRRRR" goes hard af
the bass drops go so hard

Cant be a coincidence he wears alot of yellow cloth, and the Xanthic from dark souls wears yellow cloth covering his head.
_Abandon all hope, ye who enter here_
3:14 is an absolut peak
5:25 *shivers*
This ost is the most Dangerous and Overwhelming music
The most metal ost in the game
Enough...I have endured...more than enough... I ask you forgive me...dearest Banana... Nanaya:Fk u! Frenzied jerk ass flame!
May chaos take the world, May chaos take the world
Is It me or the OST Is chanting him constantly
Goldmask's evil, Nine Inch Nails-loving twin brother.
Let's chaos take the world!!!!!!
I really hope makes a mashup of Midra's theme with literally any ost from Bloodborne...
The Frenzied Flame has its anthem now.
2:58 onwards is one of the best things I have ever heard.
that part at 02:10 is just absolute madness, brings chills down my spine, definitely the strongest theme in the entire game with a huge margin
Theme goes way too hard for some skinny knacker in rags. Oh, your head is like a crazy sun? That's cool I guess but my hammer is REALLY big.
idk if it’s just me but 4:34 reminds me a LOT of the beginning of Dies Irae
Like Placidusax, I wish the fight was harder, because how cool the music and the boss is.
They lore channels keep saying Midra wasnt strong enough to become the lord of frenzy, this is not the music of a weakling
They're true though
@@regretit4732 i comparison to US and demi-gods
I love that boss but i was too overleveled (i think i was blessing level 15 or 17) so i killed him in two tries 😢
So cool! st. Trinas song plays, the despairing choir muffles out a tiny bit before the bass drops, and the choir returns in full force.
For those who couldn't see it yet: Midra, and at this point the entire Frenzied Flame concept, is heavily inspired by The King in Yellow.
Is the a "The king in yellow" reference?
