    Excellent no nonsense (surgical !) build. Especially the braided Di2 cable routing - nice. …good to see a liberal use of assembly grease too, but that freehub needs some!

    Bike mechanics wrapping it inwards not because "they like it this way" but more on it gets the job done faster this way. I know you guys just wrap it this way coz you are facing the bike and rotating it inwards will be faster rather than doing the proper outwards wrap. Most of this mechanics just pretends to like it coz its easier. Will never try this style again, it just creates an opposite grooves of the bar tape that gets annoying and undone when you grip your hands like when sprinting.

    Ale pedały nie powinny się kręcić samoczynnie, bębenek dalej trzyma, a to jest źle. Po zaprzestaniu pedałowania, koło powinno się samo kręcić, a pedały powinny zostać w miejscu.

    Love TCRs, especially the team bikes. First video I've watched on this channel (about to Subscribe) and the level of precision of the build, videography and sounds made this one of the most enjoyable bike build videos ever! Not seen bar tape started right on the edge of the bar end before, always overlap for tucking in with the plug. Much prefer the method shown here, and the superlong tapered cut at the top end of the bars. Seems we never stop learning! 👍👌😎

    I had to come back and add this: I like this mechanic, he adds the appropriate amount of grease, unlike some that shower the components with grease, wasting so much. And using the extra piece of wrap to put it behind the lever? Nice......I can never get the figure 8 nice and sleak, always that big lump of wrap and so annoying looking.

    2:20 are you using Parktool PPL-1? I don't know why but my ENVE Melee head tends to creak if PPL-1 is used. So I swapped to Finishline teflon grease which is working good. I think Parktool HPG-1 (which is used by ENVE build video) is okay too.

    • @bikeworksbywes
      @bikeworksbywes Месяц назад

      It’s actually Phil Wood water proof grease. It’s one of my favorites for this area of the bike. In my opinion and experience the type of grease you should use will depend on your region. I live in a mostly dry and hot region so people tend to sweat a lot. I also like to use the finish line teflon grease as-well👨🏻‍🔧👍
