I don't finish bad shows. I didn't vibe with Agatha All Along or Acolyte, so I didn't finish them. I hated the Willow and National Treasure series after the first couple of episodes so I quit those. iZombie got bad during season 5, and I only finished it because it was the last season, but if it weren't I would have quit. Same reason I quit Arrow after season 4, FLash after season 3 (?), Legends of Tomorrow after season 1, and Supergirl during season 2.

W opinion

Every main character is a broken toy. All of them have glaring flaws that overpower their good facets. The plots are good in those rare moment everyone isn't wallowing in their miseries.

I have enjoyed this franchise in the past, but in this one it felt like they were more interested in doing a bunch of minion shorts and threw in a thin storyline for Gru to make it a feature length movie. I didn’t hate it, but I instantly forgot about it. Kids will love though, and I guess thats what matters. Great review!

They probably could only go so dark for a animated cartoon in the 90s. Anime and cartoons of today are more known to go darker now because it can be shown on the internet or streaming platforms vs cable television

I enjoyed it well enough. It had the same wit and charm I liked in the previous movies but it definitely is missing the depth that elevated those movies from just feeling like “a movie for kids.” Which is totally fine, its just not as investing as an adult. Great review! Keep making the videos 👍

I don't disagree, but I found the finale episodes rather entertaining. I liked how Jubilee was able to be more mature and comfort kids in the cave with a fantasy story. It's a good direction from who she used to be when it came to her character playing video games in an arcade. And I honestly didn't like but also don't hate the art style change. It mostly threw me off. I also really didn't like the Phalanx or arkon; so it's good they only got 2 episodes. Although the penultimate finale ep 9, I wish it was an episode earlier in the show, maybe during season 2, I would've preferred seeing sinisters past earlier on, not as just a one-off episode. The main thing the episodes didn't do were cram parts of the comics into the bite-size episodes. However I can't say the same for part of the dark Phoenix saga, which I felt like I missed important stuff from the comics in the show. And man, even with the art style change, the finale was still pretty emotional. And I quite appreciate how they basically pulled back on the death punch. The animators could've killed off professor X, but they didn't and it honestly wasn't too bad.

Horrible movie, sequence of scenes did not make sense and making the apostles seem weak made no sense. The plot makes sense but execution was horrible

Lilgorgor, the walk in water, yes in the bible Jesus walks on water, but if you read the bible Peter calls out to Jesus then Jesus summons Peter to walk off the boat on water to Jesus. Peter does but once he takes several steps on water he freaks out and sinks. It was lack of faith that sunk Peter. Also later in the bible Jesus says they will do as much good works and then even greater works than Jesus did on earth.

As a filmmaker, I was wondering about this movie. My highest praise to the previous movie would probably go to the visuals, which really cut loose stylistically compared to the first film with a lot of experimentation going on. I especially loved the felt/stop-motion look the 3D was able to achieve. So cool hearing your take! Dropping you a like!

The original gremlins was way darker one of the characters explain why they hate Christmas and she says her dad dress as santa and he was going to suprise her by climbing down the chimney but he slip and broke his neck getting stuck in the chimney

I had a real good time with Renfield. Some fun action, I laughed at a lot of the humour, and I thought the cast was great. Especially Nicolas Cage and Nicolas Hoult.
