I got a music box from my cousin many year ago now I finally found this song 😭

I have an old music box that I have cut out of an small storage box where you can store items, it took me a long while to get it out but once I had it out I've been keeping it with me for a long while, the box was from an old friend of mine, he was already old and was having trouble with many things but was the nicest person and always remembered me even if I barely visited him, now keeping that cut out music box with me is like having memories in your hand

Honestly the most random thing that happened this Christmas was my baby niece getting this music box as a present from her mother. I was downstairs building lego with my nephews and all of a sudden I hear this theme playing upstairs. I come bolting upstairs and my sister's like "Hey, you're good with music. What is this song???" And that was the day I outed myself as an anime fan.

It was my first gift for him, we were so happy hugging eachother and listening to this song from the music box. We broke up in February 2019, and i still can't forget him, listening to those tunes again brings me all the memories, ... we faced all struggles in a homophobic society but i wasn't ready to face his truth, that he cheated on me and that he had too many stories behind my back. He is now happy living his life while i can't have a new start, i can't live without thinking how stupid i was, and the much of love and attention i gave him for almost 3 years .... Love and people's feelings aren't a game 💔
