maybe they were put into storage because more rail operates are operating Class 37's,the amount of footage of Class 37's recovering class 68's which clearly aern't reliable,clearly the older Diesel Electric's are more reliable,easier to maintain & in the long run cheaper to operate

These locomotives show how reliable the EMD 645 prime mover really is! All this started from a SW1001, which switches the industry at Merehead Quarry! These are heavily modified SD40-2s, which work at shortlines and in railyards on the Class 1 railroads!

I seen a video of one of these class 66 pulling all this equipment but the one i seen i swear it was 2 class 66 locomotives pulling all this equipment but it was about 5 times longer than this one maybe more i wish i had the video to show u if i come across it again i will send it u if u see it honestly u will be so amazed by how long it all is for all i know u might of seen it if u have its the one were its pulling out of a train station can't remember the name of the station soz, good catch though,👌🙏🙏🙏😉
