I'm going to try and visit Vietnam in the near future and meet up with a friend who I've known e few years but I don't speak Vietnamese and she can understand English and write English but she is a little shy with speaking but I want to go and say hi and also try and see some wildlife and birds and culture... I'm not a kid anymore so I'm a little worried about it but I thought it would be a good experience and challenge... Any idea of how to make it happen and stay for a month whilst making it cheaper is obviously a key thing. But I will be able to stay at my friend's for a while but I also want to get out and about and visit national parks and stuff...

If you were to follow RUclips and Media, it is one sided claims, these few toxic Thai need to back off and stop claiming they are the owners and the original. Their toxic historians brainwashed their people to believe their fake histories. They escaped the western colonialism due sneaky tactics, they are the opportunists rather. The world recognizes they were the immigrants from north, but tried very hard claiming they the original, what’s ashamed.

Khmer empire never existed. Angkor Wat or Angkor is an Indian culture. It was originally owned by the Varman dynasty which is a group of Thai people from Phimai city, Nakhon Ratchasima Province, Thailand. Khmers were originally captured as slaves and used to transport large stones to build Angkor Wat. Because of the hard work, later, the Khmer slaves betrayed and killed their masters, Thai Varman dynasty. The Thais in Angkor Wat moved to Ayutthaya, now the central of Thailand, to join Thais from Dvaravati and establish a new kingdom, Pra Nakorn Sri Ayutthaya, and attacked the Khmers in just 13 years. After that the Khmers became a colony of Thais for 400 years until the France came.

😂 omg you're embarrassing. The Thai kept a record of the existence of the Khmer since Sukhothai. Khmer people today are direct descendants of ancient Khmer. The last time the Thai sacked Cambodia was in 1790s and both countries have record of this. The Thai took many Khmer noblemen, artisans teachers and scholars. They even took Khmer farmers. They took the Khmer royal family and kept them in Thailand. Eventually most of these Khmers mixed and later generations didn't speak Khmer anymore, but they pass on their culture and knowledge of the Khmer Empire, that's why the Thai always claim Angkor.

Historically, Vietnamese people used to write their language using a system called Chữ Nôm. This was a logographic writing system that incorporated Chinese characters and adapted them to represent Vietnamese sounds. Over time, due to various factors including colonial influence and the desire for a more accessible writing system, the Latin alphabet was adopted as the primary writing system for Vietnamese. This shift to Latin alphabets, known as Quốc ngữ, occurred primarily during the French colonial period. It was a significant change that helped to increase literacy and standardize the Vietnamese language.

According to history, Vietnam was under direct Chinese rule for approximately 1000 years. This period is often referred to as "Bắc thuộc" in Vietnamese history. The first period of Chinese rule began in 111 BC and lasted until 939 AD. There were subsequent periods of Chinese rule as well, but the overall period of direct Chinese domination spanned roughly a millennium.
