    I bought one Fobus paddle holster for my 1911 and regretted it. A holster's retention to the belt should always be stronger than the retention to the gun. I draw the entire holster about 50% of the time with this crappy Fobus holster. I shouldn't have to cinch the dang thing to my waist to make it hold.

    He talks about OWB being unsuitable for concealed carry. An ALS is not the most concealable, however there are many acceptable OWB holsters, you just need an cover garment. BTW you also need a cover garment for IWB or AIWB. This guy seems quite inexperienced. He was also wrong about the security aspects of this holster. Security is provided by a locking device on the ejection port, not the front sight, which would be ridiculous! 🇺🇸👮🏻‍♂️👍🏻

    I am so sick of people like you running your mouth about Blackhawk serpa holsters. Just because you may not be intelligent enough or safe enough to properly utilize them doesn't mean the product is unsafe. It's called training, if you do enough training you develop muscle memory. The holster is legitimately designed so your trigger finger ends up on the frame of the handgun. I've used one for open/duty carry for years. Pulling during numerous high stress situations, I have yet to have an ND. So just stop with the misinformation.

    Here is a section from the USCCA policy that illustrates a problem with all of these policies. 1. Primary Insurance This insurance is primary except when paragraph 2. below applies. If this insurance is primary, our obligations are not affected unless any of the other insurance is also primary. Then, we will share with all that other insurance by the method described in paragraph 2.c. below. 2. Excess Insurance a. This insurance is excess over any other valid and collectible insurance purchased by the “insured”, whether primary, excess, contingent or on any other basis, that applies to an “occurrence” or “covered legal liability” to which this insurance also applies; b. When this insurance is excess, we will have no duty under this Coverage to defend the “insured” against any "claim" or suit if any other insurer has a duty to defend the “insured” against that "claim" or suit. If no other insurer defends, we will undertake to do so, but we will be entitled to the “insured's” rights against all those other insurers. WHAT DOES THIS MEAN? "Primary insurance" defines which company pays first, and has the duty to defend, if something happens. "Excess insurance" only pays when the primary insurance pays out their entire policy limits. That is, if you have a homeowners policy with 100,000 dollar limits, that will usually be "primary." If you have any other insurance, that insurance won't pay anything until your homeowners company has paid 100 grand. In Paragraph 1, they say that they are the primary insurance, except as stated in Paragraph 2. That is, they promise to pay first. EXCEPT AS STATED IN PARAGRAPH 2. Paragraph 2a says that they are "excess" if you have any of the other common insurance coverages, at all. It specifically states that they are last in line behind every other coverage that might be applied. Paragraph 2b says they have no duty to do ANYTHING until your homeowners insurance has already exhausted all of their coverage. That is, if they are ever called to pay anything, they will be last in line. They have no duty to do ANYTHING until every insurance before them is exhausted. All you are really paying for is an increase in policy limits on your current homeowners, renters, or car insurance coverage - with more exclusions and limitations. All such policies will probably have very similar wording. Don't believe me. Take the policy and look for "Primary Insurance". It will be in every policy. The paragraphs may even be the same exact wording. And then, you would go into the other issues and exclusions. See the video by Marc Victor. His comments would apply to most, if not all, such policies with different wording. He doesn't even get into the stuff about who is actually going to pay. Don't believe me. Please. Go ask your own agent to review this coverage and tell you who would pay what if something bad happened.

      Not when you are found guilty -- when anyone in your family is charged with a crime. For example: Your kid gets mad and breaks the neighbor's window. The neighbor charges you with an axe and you shoot him in legitimate self-defense and everyone -- including the cops -- agrees you had no choice. You are in the clear. No coverage. Why? Because your kid broke the window. Coverage ended when the cops wrote him up for that. Insurance for criminal defense is illegal under all insurance law. It is a "moral hazard." If people know their lawyer is covered, they are more likely to commit crimes. Therefore, illegal everywhere. Furthermore, no legitimate company would take the bet. As soon as any charges are filed, coverage stops. And, the company may be entitled to recover anything already paid, even if it isn't stated in the policy. That would apply to any and all policies of this type. The ONLY thing they could cover is civil liability. If that's what they cover then go to your local agent and have them explain all the reasons this "self defense insurance" is trash. See ruclips.net/video/gbEbOJMdK30/видео.html for a lawyer's review of why you will never get paid in any case.

    USCCA will probably not defend you in a criminal case, at least they are not obligated by contract to do so. Read the contract as per 11/01/2021. (However, we will have no duty to defend the “insured” against any “claim” or suit that does not seek “compensatory damages” or to which this insurance does not apply.) www.deltadefense.com/public/self-defense-liability-policy.pdf

      @cliffordschaffer5289 2 года назад

      NOBODY will provide insurance for criminal defense. NOBODY. That's against the law. If anyone led you to believe they would, on ANY of these policies, then they are trying to fool you. See ruclips.net/video/gbEbOJMdK30/видео.html for a lawyer's explanation of why you would never collect anything. His comments would probably apply to all of them.
