I know, this game is so nostalgic. It had a great gameplay, hardly any annoying parts, and for a veteran it's easy to get the Cutlass Bluetane before upgrading to steel. It really rewards you.

Well, with the big Solus Greatsword, or the Sword of Aeons/Avo's tear equiped both are of about the same power, but the good side allows better healing and armor (The Physical Shield). Berserk isn't as consistent and you can still die.

Actually the good side here is the ultimate power. You need the good alignment to max the Physical Shield, which is so goddamn overpowered you can run around, never get knocked back or have your 20x XP multiplier decreased in all, 0 chance of dying and just bashing through even the final boss without a scratch.

Alright, the point is that the goal in the Fable games wasn't ever to beat the main quest, yes it's PART of the game, but the actual point of it is to experience this new world through marriage, through heroic acts, and the like. Fable 2 made you more powerful and seem more heroic through actions rather than looks, it gave you action scenes with different camera angles and new moves in order to make you less of a player character, and more of a player experiencing a character.

No, Fable 2 didn't get worse reviews. Also, the game reflects the changing world of Albion, which is why your magic gets weaker and ranged weapons get stronger. The bloodline advances away from William Black, who represents the old world, and towards gunpowder, which represents the new world. It's about changing times, not about keeping everything the same forever.

You had more stuff to do in Fable, also it's suppose to be the story of a hero. That's pretty obvious. Fable 2 lacks in all sorts of things. Laggy menu, quests are not nearly as fun. I've done all of them for both games, along with all add-ons. Fable 2 got worse reviews. Being a mage is pointless, it went from being a hero game to pretty much being a gunslinger. There's less to customize, less choices to make. Less things to have a goal for(like demon doors, silver keys etc.)

Wtf, Fable 2 isn't fucking connect 4 dude, the object isn't to win the object, just like in the first fable, is to experience a new world in it's entirety, whether it's the mundane like marriage and children, or the extreme like being a badass action hero. Just because it doesn't appeal specifically to YOU doesn't make it a worse game.

Fable 2 is way to noob friendly. You can max out money within 20 minutes along with all skills. The best weapons are extremely easy to earn. Being good or evil is way to simple. The npcs are to easy to fight, and hardly change while you do. There's not a benefit to being good or evil. Yes, i'm comparing the UNPATCHED games. Since you're complaining about Fable's 'problems' which it had very few.

That's like saying oblivion was better than Daggerfalls, and Morrowind in The Elder Scrolls series. Compared to the first one, the second one lacked fluent game play. A actual hero story. Quests had more to them. Enemies improved reasonably with your advancing in skills. The story line was far better. Also Fable 2 has problems and had way more. You could get the max level after going to Bowerstone. Earning money is way to easy. The game play difficulty was like playing a kid game.

if you paid attention to the story you would have known that Jack was a "Being of the Void" and just came to Albion in the form of a mask where he possessed a host. Now a working version of that game would be to play as Jack's host up until he gets corrupted, then you play as Jack.

In no universe. Fable was riddled with problems, I'm not saying it was a bad game, but I am saying that Fable 2 was a more subtle game, with more room for neutrality, and generally better game design. Fable 2 was the best of the series, hands down.

He "could be" William Black who was the first Archon, we cant assume that he is based on the wikia or evidence given to us. Even the wikia says "he could be the first archon" , still though i would honestly prefer if he wasn't cause i think of William Black as way more power and though but maybe hes gotten weaker over time?

Actually Jack was never really a hero. Look up the Court on the Fable wiki it will explain it alot there. But you are right I would LOVE a Fable where you see what takes place in old Albion but maybe playing as Scythe who was actually William Black the first Archon.
