Those enclosures good are next level 🔥
@@ravishingreptiles thanks man, still working the whole youtube thing out.
Check out the "Insane Jungle Ecosystem " video, that's the one I'm probably most proud of even though it hasn't performed as well as some others
This is probably the first time I see an enclosure build with ambient music.
This is one of the most poorly written things I've ever heard and couldn't disagree more and can find holes in everything you say. And by the way you're stumbling on everything it sounds like you don't believe a word of it either
Nah, lighting etc should be on point anyway, although many people still choose to go by survival rather than thrive. Substrate is easy to mix on your own and you only have to do it once. And even if you don't do it perfectly chances are everything will be just fine. Plants doesn't have to be expensive at all (unless you want something very specific and rare), and plants grow like crazy in an environment like this so you can sell cuttings etc if you want to. Cuc as well. Also both expenses and time spent researching in the beginning would even out when you don't have to do substrate changes all the time. Water features on the other hand is another thing, it can definitely cause problems if it leaks etc. But bioactive is basically just water once in a while, prune when it grows over and that's it. Spot clean or burrow feces for larger animals. Easiest keeping possible except for a bit of research for first timers.. and you don't have to go overboard on hardscape and backgrounds etc, that is entirely up to each individual how much work and time they want to put into it. But that being said backgrounds and hardacpes does not really have anything to do with bioactive. That is more of an aesthetic thing, bioactive or not.. same with thermostats, heating and lighting. That is not a bioactive thing either. Plants can survive for a while without perfect conditions. And not to mention the cost of plastic foliage etc, definitely not any better than real plants that grows in. I started right on bioactive. It's easier upkeep, easier to keep good humidity etc, less work and good enrichment for geckoes etc especially.
I also use fake plants around the basking area. Makes them more comfortable when basking and looks better than bare rocks/wood. P much nothing survives long term under a heat lamp
How to wash your background Wash it
Great video! there is no reason not to go bioactive xD
Would really love a detailed carving vid or a general how to on how you made the trees
Very useful informations! I have an 8'Lx8'Wx6'H bioactive enclosure thats over 2 yearsold. I couldn't agree more on how much work goes into it.
Could agree more with a lot of these points. Plus, Bioactive has made me really enjoy plants. I think for it all to be successful, people have to enjoy taking care of the enclosure as much as their animal that lives inside it. Thanx for the video bro!
@@bradsbioactivebuilds 100%
Nice video mate, some really good points raised!
@@riddlerreptiles thanks brother
Awesome video. You brought up points that most people neglect to mention about bioactive care. It’s the trend and people start trying to begin that process without any understanding of the components. This often hurts the animal. Very good stuff! Keep up the great work
@hannahworley3336 Thankyou, it can be awesome but honestly it's a project to take on when you want more work to enjoy.
Very nice. Just discovered your channel and love the enclosures 👍
Bad ass build . What species of python was that a children's or spotted morph?
@@gritandgears9159 thanks mate, she is a Julatten Locality Jungle Python
What grass plants did you use for these set uo
Nice work man. What are those plastic clips called that you mounted the Jungle dawn to? Also where did you get the faux moss from? The one that you treated with the acrylic sealer in your last vid? Keep up the good work bro!
www.bunnings.com.au/hafele-21-x-44mm-corner-bracket-12-pack_p0037963?store=6435&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQiAlsy5BhDeARIsABRc6Zv8Wsb2RnGvKZBfPOUAFdAc9xDflJhhk9DGjJ5EW8LW36IjzZ_P2cYaAj3mEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds
The moss is one from temu.
Came out great. Whats your moss method?
@bradsbioactivebuilds it's a nylon synthetic moss that I leach any excess dyes out of and then soak in acrylic sealant to make it less absorbent.
As always, great work!
Thanks brother.
Looks amazing as always. Did you make those vines? If so, do you mind sharing the process. Looks awesome!
Sure did, I got the method from Brad's Bioactive Builds channel for his Tree Monitor enclosure.
I’ve been watching your stuff for probably at least a year now and just wanted to tell you how much I love your content. The videos are really nice and it’s obvious you put extra time and effort in editing. They are only a few reptile RUclipsrs on this level like Tanner Serpa and Brad’s bioactive builds. Your dedication to next level care is super inspiring for me. I hope your channel gets the attention it deserves soon.
@hannahworley3336 Thankyou so much, it was my new year resolution to put in alot more time and effort into it as it has been well outside My comfort zone.
Genio, algun dia quiero hacer algo asi para mi anaconda slaudos desde Perú 🇵🇪
Love it dude
@@Pewpro Thanks heaps. New Vid Out tomorrow.
Another SICK build bro 🔥
This looks amazing, I'm planning something similar for my new snake but not sure itll look this good
@@OctoBud they key to live plants that I have found is lighting, and adequate misting systems and then drainage depending on how much water you have going on. The good news is that if you don't like it you can always strip it down and start over.
See this is what I imagine myself doing when im trying to beautify my enclosures but it just ends up looking like a 2 year old did it. I have the ideas, just not the skills to make it come to life like you can. This looks awesome!
@@shaebaker5563 thanks Shae, maybe I should start a business offshoot doing Enclosure decorating 🤔
List of materials used?
Expanding foam, grout, acrylic paint, cat litter trays, downlight, expanded clay balls, geotex filter fabric, custom substrate blend, Polyester artificial moss (leaked of excess dyes and soaked in acrylic sealant), Plants. dwarf umbrella tree, zee zee plants, dracaena.
Thanks for Watching.
What does the acrylic sealant do to the faux moss? @@CopperheadCustoms
@erickperez8770 makes it less absorbent, and seals in the dyes in. Leaving it would allow bacteria to be absorbed and harboured, Sealing it makes it almost like soft plastic.
@@CopperheadCustoms wow nice I've never heard of that before, what brand of sealant did you use?
Love this!
@@JarMaster thankyou 😀 , very happy with how it came out
Been loving the videos mate, what’s the orange moss stuff you use for detail around the enclosure?
@@strevosreptiles7184 Thanks mate. That's a moss native to my location, it starts Green but goes orange when it dies and tries out over time
Another mini masterpiece my friend, beautiful stuff
Thanks brother.
🤘💯🤘🔥🔥🔥
Hey dude. I'd probably add 4-6 6500k wit at least 10,000 lumens LED flood lights to this to really get some plant growth boomin'.
@@mkuc6951 I was thinking of doing a series of spotlight led fixtures along the front. There is already a Large Jungle Dawn bar but I think I need something designed for distance.
@@CopperheadCustoms i agree with him more light would be good. I like well lit enclosures myself. And you dont need to stick to reptile brand stuff go to home depot and grab some outdoor LED floodlights.
Awesome bro, also - such a stunning snake, the yellows are crazy
@@riddlerreptiles she is beautiful and super nice temperament .
Lmaoooo straight to jail with you! It's funny they don't realise literally every single creator they watch has taken inspiration from somewhere, or someone else. Also your moustache is glorious haha
Haha thankyou
Does posting on RUclips mean you’ve stolen from Mr Beast as well? Don’t forget you’ve got trees in your enclosures so you’ve stolen from nature as well. Also please apologies to Mr Thomas Edison because you’re using lights
😂 damn better make a follow up video.
There’s a plethora of dumb over edited shocked face thumbnails out there and no one accuses them of stealing. Also, Just because an image reminds you of something doesn’t make it a copy. The visuals in your videos are fantastic keep up the good work!
@@Guitarwench Thanks Pia, you know your a real youtube creator when you get haters lol
😂😂😂 my favourite part was the reference to the 1800s 👌👌 Keep doing you mate love your work ❤️
@@benpearce8496 Guilty as charged
Love your content! Greetings from Croatia Btw what is the name of the plant on 05:30 mark?
Guys he didn't "steal" the thumbnail, it's clearly this guys own vivarium in the thumbnail, not AntsCanada's vivarium. It's obviously just a reference to AntsCanada
@@anthonysimone9156 lol thanks mate, Inspired by and stealing are not the same thing. Absolutely I am inspired by Antscanada both in my keeping and what I would love to achieve on RUclips. Honestly the thought behind this image was "What would make a good thumbnail? Well I liked the one of me sitting in front of my other Vivarium, I could do one looking into the Vivarium thinking about what to Change and improve on, kind of like how Antscanada does his when he is trying to portray how he is feeling about the going on inside his setups." .... you know you are becoming a real RUclipsr when you get your first haters lol.
shouldnt be stealing from another content creators thumbnail
@@ashu1707 I appreciate the concerns for other amazing creators and I appreciate that my image was 100% inspired by Antscanada as I felt that it was a really good was to portray ME (as this is a photo of me.) Contemplating what I want to change inside my Vivarium, since that is the main feature in my vlog post. Inspired by a creator and thinking to myself " What would make a good Thumbnail, me looking into the Vivarium that I am making changes to thinking, kind of like what Ants Canada does to portray his emotions around his Giant Ecosystem." That's no more "stealing" than sombody making a song in a similar style to somebody else or somebody dressing a certain way because they like the fashion sense of a celebrity. So again Thankyou for your concerns and I am flattered that you are comparing my work to Antscanada.
@@CopperheadCustoms i apologize I was under the assumption you just straight ripped one of his thumbnails. My mistake !!
Pretty rude of you to steal AntsCanada's thumbnail.
@@geekchic324 how is a photo of me standing in front of my own Vivarium stealing? Am I inspired by Antscanada, absolutely but my aim with the thumbnail was meant to be me contemplating the things I want to Change in the Enclosure that I have made. Thanks for your concern but perhaps look a little more closely before tearing people down.
@@CopperheadCustoms you stole his thumbnail style. It's clearly an attempt to get views from fans of his channel. Not cool man. Find your own style. You'll get more respect that way.
@@geekchic324 shut up dork its a youtube thumbnail... get a life
@@geekchic324 I appreciate your opinion and thanks for Inspiring me next Video.
