Me too! its nice to see the theme be appreciated, especially when it does have so much good and creative fun it. so many people don't give it a chance! And from my perspective its nice to see them challenge convention again, outside of the bowser train the 2024 revamp was lacking....

@@octanethermoplastic ME TOO! I got it for Christmas 2020 along side the Mario starter course and the Banzai Bill set (which is not that good of a set, but it comes with Shy Guy so it was worth it)

Banzai bill is one of the worst, excluding the shy guy.... I got my bowser castle for 50% off on eBay not that I mind the second hand, it was in excellent condition and has great figures!

@@superminister they do seem to have focused on the essence of mario….. apart from the Luigi and of course 3D worlds (train and cat stuff) I agree with you that the Luigi mansion 1 sets were soooo good. I got all the ghosts (just not the enterace set) and just love how perfect they translated!!

@@roydoorenspleet1548 I don’t own all of them but I could do another “state of Lego x Nintendo” video which examines the current fortunes of the collab. Or I could do another ranking video but we did only just do that for Mario, and it is mostly mario still…. I was already planning to do another state of Lego x Nintendo in early 2025

Ah yes, the instruction link was mostly to let people know about my other builds, I'm not saying it won't happen, but at the moment the only build I have planned to go up is the removable milk bar section, I always require myself to build moc's and test them in real life before making instructions. It's quality control. But that means my instruction output is slow

You should go for it! This custom very much focuses the gate and I was thinking that as much as I love the botw castle over multiple sets idea, it hasn't given me an opportunity to really showcase the castle as a single unit. But with echoes, I've been able to make a set that sort of fits your description here, but with a proper castle style for less than 100.... Im super pleased to have had that chance!

@@octanethermoplastic I was thinking of something like this so I took apart a castle I built for parts and sat down and began to build. Mymain fucus was two huge rectangular dores from an old ninjago dojo and tower. It took a bit of time to build the gate and tower cause the entereor wasn't verry wide as I wanted to do a gate or hyrule field extereor battle. I have took the Link and a modified Zelda in a white robe and made some hyrule soldiers from castle figures who have no symballs on thier armor so they aran't a faction like lion knights and such. The monsters I use so far are skellitons' a series 13 goblin and a heavy knight in dark armor like some darknut.

@@soirsrc7809 it’s over 60000 Lego parts. I don’t think it’s quite worth my time as I really don’t think anyone has the time money or patience to use a template

gleeok flame sword, its a fuse of the gleeok drop on a hilt, so less torch and more weapon I guess!
