A short visit to Ankerbold Bridge earlier 27.08.24 produced a couple of decent moves 37800 pulling 730027 on the late running Soho LMD - Gasgoine Wood Sidings 56051, 56090, 37405 Carlisle N.Y - Barrowhill Colas Plus a couple of extra clips for good measure

For me the highlights of the day had to be 37409 coming down from Crewe to Barrowhill to collect D9000 ' Royal Scots Grey' and take her back to Locomotive Services base at Crewe. The return visit caught many people out at it left Barrow hill some 59 minutes early. Back through Chesterfield 37409 gave us a very spirited rub through with D9000 behind her. Brilliant event and so well attended on a rare for this year, dry day ! Unfortunately I couldn't find the Women's Land Army display though ... Thanks to all. Great time enjoyed.
Whole heartedly agree John about time Chesterfield put on a good event. With a bit of thought they could bring visitors back in to town . About time they had a word with organisers to get another classic car event in Chesterfield , that was amazing
