Yeah it's all automated. I just start it and forget about it. New version has overrides/key controls but I've not released that yet. Ironing out bugs as it's a complete rewrite. You'll be the first to know.

Cheers. Currently refactoring how it all works as currently the HUD view is required no matter what... but some users will just want the AutoDirector or the new Director views and not the HUD ;)

Yeah, it was great fun. A hollow victory though, Bruces' horse piss and the games pit stop issues played a part. I wouldn't say my ERS management was any good. Just me trying things out. Using the boost to reach a decent top end and then flicking it back to off/build in the corners rather than going flat out seemed the better routine for me.

Thanks Frank. Glad you like it. At the moment the sizing is scaled based on screen width with no manual control. I did originally have that as an option in the settings menu but took it out a few versions ago. I'll look into adding it back in the next version.

Hi Frank, I've looked into at and reminded myself why I took the custom scaling away from the settings menu. I'd like your feedback so I can make the necessary improvements without adding the scaling back in. None of the current design/style is set in stone/finished so if there are things you think should be made bigger then do let me know what bits they are. Thanks cool dude! Cheers.

Nice! Yeah, the plan is once I've got the timing right with "all the variables" I need to consider then I can create a few different styles that can be changed at a flick of a switch. Maybe even automatically depending on the car being driven. The 90's F1 style was an easy, clear one to start with.

Yeah I was thinking if that hadn't of happened, maybe I wouldn't have taken a chance with the early pit. Maybe that's what won me the race! Sorry for the bump though 😕

Hey, I've made it available here: github.com/weareindi/ams2.skin--hud - it's changed a bit since that video as I had to cater for some default hud elements like the mfd. Still a work in progress but I use it all the time. Any feedback please use the issues tab on github.

Yeah, no one got the memo telling them to stay behind me. I am a bit of a wimp on lap 1 usually, need to work on that but I'm wondering if the drivers behind me did that ol' "hang back and floor it before the lights" trick to get an unfair sling shot putting themselves out of position/being an arsehole. I also can't help but think if I'd been more aggressive I wouldn't have made it past turn 1 which would have been even rubbish-er. I had fun getting back through the field but my race with you at the front was over before turn 1 :(

Cheers Barry. Still a work in progress but I'm happy with how things are going. Pretty rapid development also. It's only been 2 weeks of on/off work to get this far and now I've got a solid foundation I can make changes super quick going forward. 👍

Cheers Barry… a bit unfortunate that the game got in the way of a fair race yet again. I was hoping to get the jump on P1 during the pits phase but not by that much. The engine turns off in pits for some reason which they weren’t prepared for.
