This was AWESOME!! Really, I discovered it through my pal Lee's FB page and we really enjoyed it, meeting everyone a little closer was just fantastic! (Lee was wearing my sweatshirt in one of the scenes, love that! ) Look, hubby and I are fans, we travel to play socially, we stream the tournaments every weekend (all of them) we travel to watch tournaments. We've inspired at least 8 different couples to take pickleball trips, I've sold (inspired the sale of) at least 4 Selkirk paddles and I am a rep for neither company or any company, hubby and I, we are simply player in the trenches and we have been watching it all unfold and it's SO cool to see some of the thoughts and drama flying behind the scenes. SO, so good.

I have been playing pickleball for about a year and a half, play tennis still, and grew up playing table tennis. I'm happy to see this framed racquet construction approach being pursued. I honestly was surprised when I started getting into the game that this tech was not on offer from any brand or model. It seems like an obvious proven way to advance performance. I will put OM at the top of my list for my next pa.. racquet!

I'm 51 and find when I stretch before playing that I feel much better after 2-3 hours of court time.

Hi, I owe you an apology, I managed to stop your video at the point of contact and it is a legal serve. In my defense when you were demonstrating the shot, and this is not a critism I know why you were doing it but it looked like you were going to hit the serve illegally, so perhaps I was preconditioned into seeing it that way.

I hope the game doesn't change towards tennis. It is a different game and should stay that way.

it may work for local rec player (below 3) but even decent beginner or intermediate player will put away this return. effective drop is not about just get the ball in kitchen but in fact key is how high the ball bounce after dropping in t the kitchen.

People need to make video's of people playing with this paddle so we can see the paddles in action. And when are you going to have pickleball clothing, backpack, edge guard tape or OM protective tape, shark skin tape for the handle, shirts, shorts, etc. I have 2 elongated gearbox pro paddles and cannot wait to buy and try the OM Aero 1 Pickleball's Racquets. who is the tennis pro that uses your racquet.

Two characteristics need to be developed to vault this to a top tier paddle. (1) Top tier spin. Over 2300. (2) Durable spin that lasts a long time. Proton paddles come to mind. Daescu's paddle has lasted 5 months through all the gold medals etc. By the way, there are already many paddles that allow tennis type strokes including wristy strokes. And some provide great values such as the Spartus Apollo that reminds me of some of the qualities of your paddle, but even better. (i.e. 2300+ rpm, wide body, 109 swing weight, 7.45 twist weight, great pop, high quality construction including brand name Dupont Kevlar, USA designed. All for $117. )

Great interview Sleeve. My friend plays the Aero and loves it. I've hit it a few shots and liked it also. I'm hoping that a different head shape can be made with the same advantages of the Gen 1. I do like a "wide body" head shape, but with a curved tip. There was no talk about the core. I would for sure get the EVA model.

I don't believe in "top spin" Drops, as it's telling the ball to fall into the net vs clear n then let gravity take over... I see you have a video on "backspin" drops I'll watch that as well..

WOW I love the Ereta racket. There's no break-in for me and I came from the Legacy Pro. Since it is head heavy and more aerodynamic like a tennis racket, I am able to swing big loopy forehands to generate extreme power and topspin on serves and ground strokes. So far after 4 sessions I have literally zero miss hits due to the racket face being smaller, and my playing has improved with each sessions... can't wait to get back on the court to use this awesome racket again.

ok, this has the same specs as the Friday paddle, except size. and you can buy two premium paddles for 100 dollars. thus there are way over priced. Premium = thermoformed, t 700 Toray carbon fiber, and grit surface.

I just got mine & true enough this paddle is outstanding. It even beats my Black Diamond especially on the dinks & punch volleys. The Black Diamond has too much twist on the side when playing compared to this one. Mayhem is very stable & very reliable on those points. The pop is also something else. It’s like you want to hear that special sweet pop every time you go for those hard hits! POWER is felt at every hit. I am at awe with what this paddle can do at my games! Truly a game changer ❤️
