Pembrokeshire Christmas Convoy 2023 though Tenby in Pembrokeshire in Wales
Hello Paul. I've had problems with my comments dissappearing. I've commented on lots but they often go. I've no idea why. Not just on yours on many. It works one day but not the next. Great video. I wouldn't fancy falling in there. Looks pretty awesome though.
ThanksJamie - Ive got this and the storm one read in case they vanish. Hope all is good with yourself 🙂
@paulmanorbier Brilliant. I've messaged YT and asked no reply back. Some days it works great and others nothing. It all does my head in😂 Nevermind. Your vids are good Paul. Spring will be here soon and you can start the pack lunch boxes again. I love seeing what chocolates and things you have😂👍
Hello Paul. Nice video pal. Looked like snow on the beach 😀 The looked powerful💪💪 Good on still in shorts😂👏👏 I'm a funny one I wait until March 1st then I'm back in shorts😀 Always nice to see your videos 👍
Oh come on that is not a storm
Not as wild as I was expecting either - ended up as just a nice day at the beach!
So lovely to see you both on here. Sending best wishes for a lovely Christmas and happy new year. Hope we will get chance to call in on you in 2025. Nadolig llawen xx
Your video was truly beautiful and inspiring. As a fellow creator, I appreciate the effort you put into it. Sub and 👍14
Thank you - that's much appreciated 🙂
Another fantastic video Paul! Merry Christmas!
Lovely video, Paul. Christmas greetings from Valencia x
Many thanks, lovely to hear from you and sending Christmas greetings back from sunny Pembrokeshire to Valencia XX🐾🐾
Had me worried for a bit Paul but no need, you were just waiting for a sunny day ! Wonderful little film as always and especially liked those silhouette shots near Giltar Point and seeing the little doggos living their best lives. Tenby looking really fab and festive. When I (eventually) retire I hope to follow in your footsteps around Pembrokeshire.......thank you for the inspiration. A very Merry Christmas and a Happy and Healthy New Year to you and yours.
Thank you- I had to wait for that sunny day! Nadolig Llawen - Happy Christmastime to you 👍🏽
I like waterfalls very much. So nice upload, awesome presentation, thanks for sharing dear. All the best to you. Have a wonderful day and see you next time again. Many Greetings from Germany. ♥ Like 9

Blue skies again........
Hi, Paul. Great watching your videos around this part of the Pembrokeshire Coast. Lived there and surfed there in the early 70’s. Good work and the coastal walkway is such a good asset. Regards Des
Thanks Des
Awesome video my friend , always enjoy your wonderful videos , thank you for sharing and thumps up , have an amazing day . ❤❤❤❤. ❤❤❤❤. ❤❤❤❤ 😎😎😎😎😎😎 7
1:36 to 1:48.....the autumn light filtering through the trees and all that wonderful moss........magical scenes.
I love this and also the Tunnock caramel bar. 😊
Crazy to me that this was recorded on an iPhone. I thought this was a demo of a full frame or a camcorder. I'm inspired!. BTW I can walk just minutes to Lock 18 of the Trent Severn Waterway system in Ontario so the subject matter is very interesting.
My iPhone Asan 11and there is a setting to adjust so you can capture in 4k. One drawback is that the the phone only has a X2 optical zoom. it will digitally zoom, but at the cost of picture quality. I had a look at Lock 18 on the Trent Severn and it looks like a good boating area
Nessie is a old turtle!
The ambience of The Bridge of Oich to Fort Augustus is very beautiful and amazing. Such a great view of Scotland indeed. Thank you for sharing it with us to see it.
Beautiful
Good to see you guys looking fit and well.......nice weather seems to follow you around. Looks an interesting place to visit, castles and churches being amongst my favorite historical sites to explore. Hope you'll be doing and posting the Manorbier to Tenby December walk and / or maybe a walk around a snowy Manorbier! who knows?... Looking forward........
Thanks Jimmy Boy, I didn't know what to expect on this walk, so it turned out a good one for me. Manorbier to Tenby is on the cards too, and while I should know what to expect on that one, it's different every time! Thanks again
Hi Paul. Have followed all your much earlier vids and loved every one. I was wondering what happened to you after a long silence and just came across this one under a different name and a different dog (if I am correct). So glad I found it. Paul (Cadiz, Spain)
Many thanks, I am very honoured that you enjoyed my older videos and have found me again here. You are correct about the long silence and the new dogs, but the dog in the older films gave up at the age of 20. Thank you again - Paul 👍🏽🐾🐾
Has the work been completed? I can't find any progress reports anywhere.
Not sure - I live in Pembrokeshire so only get to Aberaeron a few times a year. Wasn't completed last time I was there, but I'm due back there in the next few weeks, so I'll see how it's looking 👍
Flower Garden beautiful.. 😅🥰😘😭😁👍🌷💐🌹
Great Video as always, thanks Bob
Thank you Bob
Que bonito lugar!! Me gusta esa playa. Me suscribo y te dejo mi LIKE. Un saludo.
Muchas gracias 🙂
I used to live in Manobier as a child and we used to walk to this beach. Back then, the way down onto the beach was a bit dodgy. Pembrokeshire has the best beaches.
And the way down is still dodgy! 😊
Nice one Paul 👌 must do this stroll myself o e day, looks lovely 👍
Wow what a beach! Seriously, that could have been abroad. I've never been to Manorbier🤦🏻 Been to Tenby and Saundersfoot. I'm hoping to have a night here and there on beach in Nov-Jan in tent. This looks stunning. Good on you with the swim👌👍
We are lucky having that in our own back yard and its often quite quiet - and even quieter in Novemember!
@paulmanorbier It's beautiful, I'll touch myself away and would even leave a crumb. Have cold sea swim😂 and scream like girl😁 I'm pretty good with cold water. Thanks for this video. Straight away I thought I've got to go here.😉👍
Skrinkle Beach is lovely - gets the morning sun too. There's also Swanlake Beach on the West side of Manorbier - a little more remote and wild. Just be sure the tides are neap (not a very big range, so the sea doesn't come to the top of the beach! This is usually when the high water is closer to 1 o'clock. Theres also a flat area at Manorbier Beach where you can pitch a tent, but there are more passers by there. The sea should still be warm-ish in November too
@@paulmanorbier That's brilliant. Thanks Paul. Really appreciate it👍
Cool post Paul, Pembrokeshire is such a beautiful area !
A gorgeous Pembrokeshire beach with very few people on it!!! Thanks Paul almost too good you shouldn’t be doing such a good job of promoting Sir Benfro
Thanks. It does get busier there at the weekends, but I like it better this way
Hi Paul, are you sure that was Pembrokeshire, only joking, looks allot like Lindsway Bay on Milford Haven Waterway, Regards Bob
Thanks Bob - It does look like Lindsway, which I hope to be walking past (or even down to) in the next couple of weeks
@@paulmanorbier The Last time I went to Lindsway the steep track down to it was very overgrown, so hope you can get down to it, was'nt there a story at one time that Royalty once had a picnic on the beach?. Regards Bob
Yes, apparently the current King Charles - came into the Haven with Queen Elizabeth 2nd on the Royal Yacht Britannia. Before attending whatever the event was, Prince Charles and Princess Anne were taken ashore at Lindsway to spend some time on the beach, and that would be his first steps on land in Wales, before later becoming the Prince of Wales - so I was told. So if I get down to the beach I'd better take a right royal picnic!
Very enjoyable as always Paul. The wildflowers are so abundant this year it seems despite the weather. Loved that shot of the Ferry behind you whilst in the beer garden.
Thank you. It was a great walk with lots to see, so an easy one to make a video of. And drinking cider while watching ships pass by is an enjoyable way to spend some time 🙂
Its always nice when there is a Pub on your walk, another superb video in beautiful Pembrokeshire, Thanks Bob
Thanks Bob, I really enjoyed that walk, but having a drink overlooking the waterway was a bonus
Hello Paul. Beautiful as always, such a nice sunny day. The open shot is good. Don't know what the stones are for, looks good and old😁 Nice with the church behind. So much colour in the vid, beautiful flowers. Foxgloves look amazing. No snacks😔😁 Very relaxing and a good video👏👏👌👍
Thanks Jamie. You’re right - no snacks. It was all a bit last minute, and when I got back I found a Turkish Delight in my backpack - missed opportunity there!😊
Amazing though to be on such a big beach on a sunny Saturday in June and only 2 other people there
@@paulmanorbier That's the best when it's so quiet. I often go early to have it quiet.
Thanks Paul One of the most industrial parts and one of the most interesting 👍👍
It is indeed. I really enjoyed the look around the Maritime Museum, although there were a lot of other places worth a look. I could only fit so much in and still walk to Neyland on the day. Thanks again
Hiya Paul. Excellent. I love horses and they look beautiful there. So many wild flowers and colours. Impressive old church. Ploop😂 never heard of that. What a beautiful castle with all that water around it. Liked that. Good vid mate. Always fun to watch and feel vetter after it too. Very nice👌👍
Thanks Jamie. I really liked that walk. It’s a quieter section of the Pembrokeshire Coast because it’s not the typical cliffs and beaches. Until we reached the town of Pembroke we only saw one other person all day.
@paulmanorbier They are the best ones when it's so quiet👍
The next section I want to walk is not so quiet - from Pembroke, through Pembroke Dock to Neyland, so 3 towns in a row. That should be quite a different walk for me
Very Paul. Love the shells on the beach like that. Spring is beautiful, the greens and blue together. All in shorts too😁 me too now, we are following your lead. Nice snack again, always different. Loved that swing.Well done👏💪💪 Beautiful walk. Very nice watch as always👌
Paul Manorbier superbly fantastically magnificent brilliantly excellently superlative
Thank you
I have a friend who lives in Neyland and I love looking at the harbour and seeing all the activity. I keep meaning to do the walk around the Milford estuary, most people vlog the pretty bits of Sir Benfro Thanks again 👍
Thanks Paul this part rarely gets shown brilliant as ever
It’s quite a different stretch of the Pembrokeshire Coast and we really enjoyed it - particularly the woodland bits. Until we reached Monkton and Pembroke we had only seen one other person all day
Wow!!! Amazing scenery my friend!!! Liked!!!
Thank you 🙂
Hi Paul if you would like some Kerno ohh err madam There’s a great channel Hen70. Well worth a watch. Nearly as good as yours. When you watch you will see the kind of videos I am addicted too 😂 I am trying to kick the habit 😂😂😂
Thanks Robert - I did have a look and I particularly liked some of the Winter walk videos there 👍🏽
A lovely little video. 👌🙌 Except for one of the protagonists in the film slamming the gate on his friend(!) and the sliced cucumber. I HATE cucumber! 🤢😂 But seriously, I'm on holiday in Pembrokeshire in 3 weeks for the first time and I'm very excited at the prospect. I will try to add this little walk to my itinerary. Thank you for sharing!
Thank you. It’s a nice walk to do, and can be done as a circular walk, with a few places to get refreshments along the way. And don’t worry - the sliced cucumber has been cleared!
@@paulmanorbier 😂🤣
Hi Paul, I have not walked on that side of the Haven but I think it is about time that I did, it looks beautiful, Thanks again for a detailed and entertaining look at the Angle side of the Haven, Regards Bob
Thanks Bob. It's a diverse walk in what it has to offer, and we all really enjoyed it
Thanks Paul I driven past no end of times I will have to have a go at walking it you have wetted my appetite
Thank you - It is a fascinating walk
Got to love Fresh west, great video 😎
Thanks, and I'm looking forward to seeing all the places you discover this year
Hi Paul, another beautiful day in Pembrokeshire, you can almost see my mates farm behind the South Hook gas Terminal across the other side of the Haven Waterway, I really appreciate your videos as I know how long it takes to compile them, Regards Bob
Thanks Bob. Looking forward to exploring the rest of the coast path around the waterway - its a different, but fascinating stretch of the Pembrokeshire Coast
Thanks Paul I think the Haven is just as interesting as all the natural beauty of the coastal scenery
It is indeed, and I'm looking forward to exploring it with a few more walks. Thanks again 👍
Brilliant video as always. What's the big building on the island? Looks like a warm summers day. The colours on the flowers look stunning. Nice picnic. Curly Wurly crazy funny name.😂 we don’t even think about it. Nice snacks, not sure if the little drink was a whisky or something like that. You look about 8ft tall walking through the low doors at the end. What was that building? Sorry for questions. 🤦🏻😁👋
The big building on the Island is Thorn Island Fort - built in the 1850s to protect Milford Haven Waterway from the French Navy. My mate in the video used to work there when he was a youngster and it was a hotel. I think now its someones home. That little bottle is Barti Ddu Pembrokeshire rum, but not shown off very well as I was more interested in all the other treats! And then that tower we went up is the Pele Tower from the 14th Century. I've been walking in that neck of the woods for decades, but I'd never seen it open to the public before, so it was a good bonus to this walk. Thanks again 🙂🐾🐾
@@paulmanorbier Wow that's cool. So many things in Wales. That's great it was open for you to explore after all these years. Thanks for the info.😁👍
