But would a communist regime have gained enough traction without the Freikorps pushing back against the left-wing uprisings? And if Germany went red, how do you think that would have changed the alliances and rivalries heading into the Cold War? Do you think a Communist Germany would’ve sparked more support or resistance from neighboring countries?

Society can take a joke There are extreme people who think shouting the N word is a joke and there are extreme people who don't think you can't mention race/gender/sexuality to make a joke. Glad I could help ;)

@strikerrey6016 depending on the context, shouting the N word can be hilarious Example: South Park did a whole episode on this, and its still one of the funniest things I've ever seen. Or, Chappelle's Clayton Bigsby skit. Same thing

@@stevefisher5433 I agree! Sometimes shock value can be an intrinsic *part* of a joke. The problem is that there has developed a fad of just straight up saying various offensive things with no actual comedic context or construct and proceed to derive humor off people being offended by what was said. Personally I'm not offended by what they are saying, I"m offended that they are violating the sanctity of humor.
