Hokkaido Day 8 of 8 🌷 Takino Suzuran Hillside Park, Soup Curry, Ramen Alley, & Post-Dinner Drinks
For our 8th day in Hokkaido, we visited Takino Suzuran Hillside Park for the flower pasture. It's apparently the only national government park in Hokkaido. I don't know what's the difference from a national park. :/
Then, we returned to Sapporo for lunch, more shopping, and dinner.
Have you been to Takino Park before? I learned that they have both summer and winter activities!

We spent our 7th day in Otaru, a small harbour city northwest of Sapporo. We planned only a day trip here, but it turned out to be my sort of place and there was so much more I wanted to see... Day 6 in Hokkaido was spent in Sapporo. Vlog of our fifth day in Hokkaido. It's a slower paced day where we go to church, walk around and explore Sapporo streets, while having meals and smaller bites here and there. As of now, our favourite cafe at Sapporo shall be Mermaid Coffee Roasters. Hehehe. For our fourth day in Hokkaido, we took a day trip out of Sapporo to Noboribetsu Jogokudani (Hell Valley), after visiting Odori Park. After a relaxing two days in Hokkaido, we were presented with a highly frustrating experience. We spent our second day at Lake Toya taking a short hike up to Usuzan ropeway for the observation decks and points. It was scenic and enjoyable. But the slight elevation and swarms of insects that are at least as big as half of my pinky made it slightly challenging. :/ I loved getting to see the bears at the bear ranch but what do you think about the ethics and the way the enclosures are made? ...

It was our first time flying with Peach. The most memorable was how we had to reshuffle the weight among the four of us (such as carrying each other's luggage) because overall, we didn't hit the weight limit, but I think 2 or 3 luggages hit the individual limit.
