Is this rig good for long casts?

Three years after the video posting, the Shimano website still lists the Tiagra 50W LRS reels having a higher drag strength than the 50W. Why not incorporate the higher drag model into the line and just sell the 50, and 50W LRS reel? And in other oddities in the Shimano Tiegra series reels, the Tiagra 16 has more listed drag than the Tiagra 20 does by 2kg. I own both Shimano Tiagra's and Penn International's. While the Tiagra is silky smooth, that comes at a cost of hundreds of very small parts internally. The International reels can be serviced on the boat if required..

An EASIER way is to do two shoe lace knots each knot. AND if ya circle hook loop em on curling in and reg hooks facing out.

I ordered this to net the algae in a large pond in our backyard. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxphFK7ETiDP5G4IGsNcg7vbASDp_YfDpI The net is very sturdy and easy to maneuver in the water. The angled edges make it easier to get into the smaller spaces among the rocks. I didn't realize that the front of the net doesn't actually have a frame to it, just the sides do, but it seems to work just fine. The handle extends to various sizes, which is a great feature when I'm in areas that are tight with shrubs at the edges of the pond. I can collapse the handle so it doesn't get stuck in the bushes.

i use a trotline clip cut it with grinder and then use torch to bend it how i want, glue it in a wooden handle and make my own to get catfish off the trotlines. looks like i need to make a mini one for the sabiki for when i get bait also. good stuff.

This is the only knot I use for braid to flouro/mono. It's so easy and can be done in seconds.

My favorite knot. Has never let me down. I'm using 40 lb braid and 20 lb fluorocarbon and 10 wraps one way instead of 4 crossed over like the improved Albright knot like you show. Either way its a great knot and thanks for the great video.
