Good win but less than stellar offense. Quinn keeps missing throws. He seems to not be able to distinguish or know when he needs to float the ball or zip the ball in. He needs to know when he needs to put some heat on the ball to get to its destination faster. Other times you can just float the ball in for the kill. Offense seems to be regressing (either that or the vanilla play calls). Plus, the run game is not up to par for a national championship title contention!!! Jaydon Blue got lucky on his fumble (he still keeps fumbling).

Texas passes to setup the run. Everyone hates the swing passes but they are runs. They also setup the wheels and the deep routes later. It’s why Golden was wide open. The defense ran to stop the swing. We need to reset our mindset regarding the run game. Texas is not going to be a between the tackle team. They are using speed and deception. I don’t think we will see anything different this year. Georgia has been the only team that had athletes to immediately make the tackle on the swing passes AND apply consistent pressure to Quinn. I don’t think anyone else is that talented at all three levels on defense. Texas is absolutely playing good enough to when a title. November is the time. Just get better each game.

I think my Texas Longhorns beats the Vanderbilt Commondores on the road 52-20 because Texas is going to feel angry after losing to Georgia at home last week and plus Vanderbilt is not that good in my opinion despite being five and two.

When we played Michigan, they had the best O line in the country. Texas supposedly had the best O line and offense in the country. Georgia bent them both over. The best Texas did on defense was watch Georgia receivers drop balls. That's it.

I've watched some film as well and I agree Texas had some winners and some guys running to grass buck ass naked open. The problem with most of those plays and the reason Ewers didn't throw to them is because of the pressure. OL was so cooked most of that game by the time those receievers were open, Ewers was already thinking about a LB and DT instead or he was pushed out of the pocket to where he could no longer set his feet for the throw.

I dont think Texas was that bad against that defense. Could have been 50 to 15 IMO.
